Local Tea Party leader Jerry DeLemus announced in an email last night that he is endorsing Michele Bachmann for the Republican presidential nomination.

DeLemus, chairman of the Granite State Patriots Liberty PAC and founder of the Rochester 912 Project, said as recently as last week that he was "really taking a look at Ron Paul," but he wound up going with Bachmann, who had impressed him early on in the process.

"I kept coming back to Michele, and as the head of the Tea Party Caucus in Congress she most closely reflects my concerns and views regarding what needs to happen in America to save America," DeLemus said in the email. "It is time we the voters choose the candidate we really want to win and stop falling prey to the scare tactic of voting who can win."

Another NH Tea Party leader endorsed Newt Gingrich:) . In New Hampshire, he brought on respected tea party leader Andrew Hemingway to lead his efforts and his team has been contacting almost 1,000 voters each day.
Hemingway’s team of eight paid staffers in New Hampshire has been adding more than 100 volunteers each day, campaign officials said. Gingrich’s team already has lined up leaders in the major cities and has started identifying representatives in each ward in the state.

Since when did the Tea Party have ‘leaders’?

This supposed Tea Party ‘leader’’s endorsement means nothing to me.

One thing the media doesn't get. There is no single tea party. There are hundreds to thousands of tea parties across the country with their own views, organization, and tactics.

Bachmann has ZERO chance of anything, she engages in political hyperbole that borderlines on insanity, comes across as shrill and angry, and honestly while I am glad she is on our side, the blatant whoppers she’s spouted and the bitterness with which she attacked other R’s during the debates make her wholey unsuited to be considered for the P or VP positions at all.

I agree with you. Why would I give a damn what he thinks? There is no party, and no real leaders. It is a movement, period.

Is he a surrender monkey also? Does he believe Isreal can go to hell? Does he believe in legalizing drugs?

Two conservatives, available, but it seems we have people all in to save the IRS and grow government and give amnesty to illegals.
