GOP critics cranked up the political heat Thursday on Attorney General Eric Holder, threatening impeachment and accusing him of withholding information from Congress about Operation Fast and Furious, a severely flawed and discredited federal gun-sting program.
At the end of a long, combative day of testimony before the Republican-controlled House Judiciary Committee, California GOP Rep. Darrell Issa compared Holder to disgraced Nixon-era Attorney General John Mitchell.
Holder shot back by comparing Issa to Sen. Joe McCarthy, the infamous Wisconsin Republican censured by the Senate in 1954 for leading what critics called a Communist witch hunt.
"As they said in the McCarthy hearings, have you no shame?" asked Holder, referencing a famous retort to McCarthy.

Holder is going to be the catalyst for the next hot civil war in America. He and all the idiots blocking for him.
I am surprised that Holder did not call Issa a racist.....yet.
Mr. Holder, it is you who has no shame, you lying, stinking, agent murdering, communist traitor.
The guy’s an idiot. He compares a search for communists to an investigation of a program that Holder already admitted does exist and did make gross errors of judgment, and did result in the murder of hundreds, and did have his department presenting evidence that it knew was false?
Is he kidding?
No one is being “unfairly hounded” as the urban legend about the McCarthy hearings would interpret his meaning. (There really were communists.)
Someone IS being FAIRLY investigated, though.
In answer to Holder’s, “Have you no shame?,” Issa should have said, “Since you yourself are a shameless, proven liar, you will have no luck with the communist/Alinsky tactic of ‘turning it back on your accuser.’”
Joe McCarthy was right, and before this is over, the CPUSA, and its apparatchiks in the Administration and Congress will be forced back under the rocks they crawled out from.
Impeach, Impale, repeat as necessary!

The intent was clearly to create a crises to support suborning the second amendment.
That effort has had limited success, BATFE now requires Fed. reporting of “Multiple” long gun sales in border states.
Such requirements always expand, now they have their foot in the door!
If these guys had been Republicans, they would all be under indictment.
Holder won’t prosecute the Black Panthers for intimidating white voters in Philadelphia, and he’s got the nerve to say, “Have you no shame?”
Talk about the pot calling the kettle “black.”
And if that’s racist, GOOD!
Holder can’t even get the quote correct from Welch to McCarthy-— it was “at long last, sir, have you no sense decency?”.
Had Holder asked this, he could not have asked it or quoted it— because the questioning about this Fast and Furious is INDEED decent, and justified— to answer for the death of a federal agent with guns purchased by the federal govt. and “walked” to Mexico.
Federal employees do not get guaranteed immunity. That is my understanding as citizens fought individual HUD employees and won.

If not civil what about criminal liability? From and Internet source: "At law, an accomplice is a person who actively participates in the commission of a crime, even though they take no part in the actual criminal offense. For example, in a bank robbery, the person who points the gun at the teller and asks for the money is guilty of armed robbery. However, anyone else directly involved in the commission of the crime, such as the lookout or the getaway car driver, is an accomplice, even though in the absence of an underlying offense keeping a lookout or driving a car would not be an offense."
Who mandated that the murderers be provided the guns?
"I don't know, Mr. Attorney General. But then, I'm not the one obstructing justice and withholding evidence."
I'd say by the way 0biC0m outed himself in TexKansas on Wednesday it's fair game now.
