With the lack of job security for head coaches in the NFL, one would think that these men would want their teams being led by the best quarterbacks, regardless of skin color.
However, a look through NFL rosters reveals a troubling trend: white head coaches are more likely to have white quarterbacks, and black head coaches are more likely to have black quarterbacks.
In the NFL, 21.9 percent (7 of 32) of the head coaches are black. According to NFL.com, those seven coaches have 20 quarterbacks on their active rosters. Half (10) of those quarterbacks are black or mixed-race. On the other hand, 25 (78.1%) of the head coaches are white. Of the 66 quarterbacks on those teams, 56 (84.8%) are white, and only ten (15.2%) are black or mixed-race.
Are black coaches biased towards black quarterbacks? Are white coaches biased towards white quarterbacks? Maybe there is a little bit of both.
No matter what the reason, the numbers are clear. If you are a white quarterback, you are much more likely to be playing for a white head coach (84.8%) than a black head coach (15.2%). And if you are a black or mixed-race QB, you are much more likely to find work with a black head coach (50%) even though only 21.9 percent of head coaches are black.

Tebow has 10 touchdowns vs 1 interception, and he’s 6 and 1 as a starter this season on what most would consider a poor team. I am a fan.
I found it ironic that the only figures in that chart that accurately reflect the white-black composition among the population as a whole are the 88%-12% breakdown of starting quarterbacks playing for white coaches. By every other measure -- including the racial composition of head coaches, quarterbacks playing for black coaches, QBs playing for all coaches, backup QBs, etc. -- blacks are actually overrepresented compared to their proportion of the U.S. population as a whole.
So the evidence proves that the black coaches are racists.
The white coaches have black quarterbacks in a percentage only slightly above the percentage of black population in the country. But the black coaches overrepresentation of blacks on the quarterback roster can’t be ascribed to anything but pure racism.
That’s racist! /s
Why would anyone coach either white heads or black heads? That’s disgusting.

I guess that explains why so many white football analysts were opposed to Tim Tebow who won’t be mistaken for being black anytime soon. (smirk)I think most teams want a quarterback who will win games for them regardless of their color. More racial agitation by the usual suspects.
Kordell Stewart, Tim Tebow, Vince Young, Tavaris Jackson and Mike Vick.....you want to beat them, make them throw.
*snort!* ya goofball!...
I’m of Swiss descent and I don’t see one quarterback or player in the NFL who is SWISS! That needs to change.......
That strategy didn't work well for Minnesota last week. Tebow had a 149 passer rating. For the season his passer rating is well over 100 for the fourth quarter. His TD to INT ratio is 10 to 1.
Aberration. He is no more Denvers’ long term answer at QB than Jackson is Seattles’.

All NFL Head coaches have determined that the cornerback position will be filled by black men. Collectively, the coaches have determined there is not one white man in the entire world qualified to occupy that position on any NFL team.
These kind of statistical studies and their conclusions are ridiculous. An NFL franchise is a business worth up to $1 billion. Coaches either win or are replaced. Just ask Jack del Rio how well the black quarterbacks he had through the years, including Byron Leftwich, David Garrard, Cleo Lemon, Quinn Gray helped him keep his job as head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
