It is a true pity that Joseph Heller, author of Catch 22, is no longer with us. He deserved the chance to observe his character Milo Minderbinder, come to life. Minderbinder is Heller's prototype of deceitful, arrogant authority gone so awry he undercuts the very reason for his post and its operations. I'm talking about our own Attorney General Eric Holder under whose watch arms were shipped to Mexican drug gangs, U.S. agents laundered the cartels' drug money, and hundreds of Mexicans and one -- perhaps two -- federal agents were murdered with the illegally sold guns.

Now we are supposed to believe that Holder was really Mr. Magoo, he never read or heard anything, and he doesn't even know where this inter-agency multiple-state fiasco was cooked up.

In the video Congresswoman Sandy Adams of Florida puts very direct questions to Holder however the turkey has become an expert at tap dancing, maybe I should say ballet, it suits Holder better.

In that letter Assistant Attorney General Ronald Weich said: "ATF makes every effort to interdict weapons that have been purchased illegally and prevent their transportation to Mexico."

Some ATF agents -- and perhaps other whistleblowers whose identities remain unknown to us at this time -- established to Congress that that statement was in direct conflict with the truth.

Yes, several MONTHS ago. Holder is whizzing in the wind trying to stall the inevitable.

After the press conference, Chait emailed Newell that in "light of our request for Demand Letter 3, this case could be a strong supporting factor if we can determine how many multiple sales of long guns occurred during the course of the case."

I see what Holder is up to.

He isn't investigating what the DOJ, FBI, ATF and DEA have done wrong. He has his men scouring gun sales records trying to find some guns recovered at scenes of drug cartel shootouts that were sold to people who were not under ATF, FBI and/or DEA surveillance.

Apparently he hasn't found any (or not enough) yet to make his counter-case that guns do flow from American gun shops other than the ones the ATF, FBI and DEA arranged to let "walk."

I expect we will hear an announcement about the finding of non-F&F guns soon.

This is an excellent article. The author has a steady bead on the facts and the spin Holder is trying to make fly. Thanks for posting. Congress woman Sandy Adams is a tough cross examiner. She makes mincemeat out of Holder’s weaselly answers.

Holder is BHO’s wingman and he has his altimeter and moral compass set at ZERO. He must go sooner rather than later.

Let’s all keep an eye on him.
