Looks like this MOH was justified. I do wish military commanders would quit embellishing heroic actions. Its like they never think the award will be approved unless they lie a little. This has been going on forever in the military. I could never understand the lying in the Pat Tillman case. He got killed by friendly fire, something that happens in all wars.
