That’s exactly what Newt wanted him to say. Now Newt can go around and ask everybody, “What’s Mitt afraid of?” It’s a nice strategic move from Newt who is really working with one hand tied behind his back and no smear money like Romney and Paul. Win the election because your ideas are better than the other guys and stop hiding behind negative ads who only give Obama more ammunition in the general. We are looking for a leader who won’t back down from anybody - isn’t that supposed to be a prerequisite to being a leader? GIVE THEM HELL NEWT!!!

Newt should dog him on that fact while waiting for the other conservatives-- Perry, Bachmann, and Santorum to drop out (which is the inevitable point when Newt shoots up in the polls for good, leaving Willard in the dust!)

Romney’s going to continue to “hide” “duck” and “”squirm” out of any time and place where he’d be exposed as the snake he is....and he’s wired for doing just that.

In the debates he remains relatively quiet and that with purpose...he’s going to ride this Primary out ‘in cruise control’ just like Obama did in congress.

Romney, for all his faults, at least is not a serial adulterer

That's because they marry more than one wife..... What makes you think he's not an adulterer in the first place? We all know politicians are only clean til they are caught. Romney could have himself a "hook up" right in one of the Mormon temples and nobody would be the wiser for knowing it. Most organizations hide such stuff deep within their institutes. So i don't believe he's "clean" at all.

I have no doubt the leadership in his church is seeing to that. After all Romney is simply their figure-head, like a Manchurian Candidate. He cannot make any moves without the support of those within his church leadership....which isn't really a church once you get at the top of their ladder where Romeny operates with them.
