Why the winds are shifting toward Obama (Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Mitt Romney...)
CNN ^ | 12/22/11 | David Gergen

Republican disarray over extending a payroll tax cut has quickly become part of a bigger political story that has been unfolding for months: the resurrection of President Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats heading into the 2012 elections.

Someone else said this on the thread....and I will say it louder:

Rush said this would happen a few weeks ago. The winds are not shifting, Obama is toast and this is why the media is doing this crap. This is what happens when you only control 1/2 of 1/3rd of the government. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. This was neither a win or a lose, from what I gather because in the end, the sticking point will be addressed. This was more of a Reid temper tantrum with Obama not acting like an adult.

What this is, is a prime example of why we need to regain control the Senate and get back the presidency. Because if this was a republican president, we all know the media would be bitching about how they’re gutting social security with this “tax cut” and they’d run out a bunch of old people in front of the cameras whining about insolvency.

Sit back, relax and enjoy Christmas..

With Senate Majority Leader Mitch "The Homo" McConnell (RINO-KY) in charge?

It’s a long way till November.

All the media liars are trumpeting the latest CNN/WaPo NBC/WSJ polls showing Obama climbing back toward 50% approval.

Those polls are CRAP. They are surveys of ADULTS, not registered voters, not likely voters. The surveys of ADULTS always get the losers, couch potatoes, Oprah watchers, too-lazy-to-vote imbeciles.

Obama is still down near 40 percent approval and he’s got nothing going to move him up. Our candidate could—may well be—a disaster but Obama’s not going to win it on his own positives.

I would like the House to “deem” the democrats iddiots and refuse to cooperate with them in any way.

If they do cooperate, let it be to the extent the democrats cooperated in Obamacare passage.

On the face of it cutting the payroll tax was stupid in the first place because Social Security is broke. But then again, there is no saving Social Security. Stretching it out for a few more months of faux solvency won’t save it so take off the whole payroll tax!

McConnell’s worthless as a Senate leader and needs to be ousted.

A blip, but why exactly is this any kind of a gift to Obama, do you really believe that people are believing the made up numbers from the MSM or Government. Look around you who are you going to believe?

They cannot control their members and are totally useless leaders.

An interesting charge, this. If it were a common problem there would be a lot of spam ads about it.

"Who believes that now? Obama is still highly vulnerable and could lose, but the CNN poll coming out of the field this week reveals a remarkable turnaround, especially in the past month."

Amazing what polls can show when you massively oversample Democrats...

And these SOBs claim Gingrich isnt conservative enough? Who was it that had enough guts to at least stand ground and shut the friggan government down?..that is until the rinos all ganged up on Gingrich and forced him to back down. And that is exactly what happened. Who was it that actually forced Clinton to come to the table and negotiate? What were the economic conditions as a result?

And then, they managed to force Gingrich out...and GW Bush got in WITH a GOP House and Senate. They promptly started to what? They spent like drunken sailors.

SAid it before and will continue saying it:

IF YOU THINK OBAMA WILL BE EASY TO BEAT IN 2012 YOU`RE A FOOL.

Odds are he will win and easily with a RINO nominee, the dominant media in FULL FRONTAL ATTACK mode on the nominee, a foolish and imbecilic House of Representatives leader like Boehner being played like a fool over an over, voter fraud, buying votes, etc, etc, etc.

He may be a fool in a Biblical sense, but he isn't in the political sense - Boehner is complicit and will forever be in league with The Enemy. The GOP-E needs to be defeated with as much vigor as we want to remove The Usurper and the demonic choir that accompanies him.

Am I reading this wrong or will the next two months see no increase in a person’s paycheck because the payroll tax was extended two months. The same paycheck amount should be the same if what they were getting this last year is just extended. So hold off on buying that pizza, gang.

Officials from the policy-neutral National Payroll Reporting Consortium, Inc. have expressed concern to members of Congress that the two-month payroll tax holiday passed by the Senate and supported by President Obama cannot be implemented properly.

Pete Isberg, president of the NPRC today wrote to the key leaders of the relevant committees of the House and Senate, telling them that “insufficient lead time” to implement the complicated change mandated by the legislation means the two-month payroll tax holiday “could create substantial problems, confusion and costs affecting a significant percentage of U.S. employers and employees.”

ABC News obtained a copy of the letter, which can be read HERE. Isberg agreed that it would be fair to characterize his letter as saying that the two-month payroll tax holiday cannot be implemented properly.
The NPRC is a non-profit trade association that does not take positions on policy. The group represents organizations that provide payroll processing and services to more than 1.5 million employers, impacting one third of the private sector.

You are correct about the polls showing Obozo around 50%.

I was arguing with some libs about these polls, they were thrilled about the big Obama comeback. The IPSOS/Reuters poll show Obozo at 48 approval, 49 Disapproval, when you looked at the internals no only was the poll adults, the sample was broken out 44%+ dem, 22% pub, 15 % independent.

Total Joke.

The MSM is trying to create a perception that Obozo is another ‘come back kid’

Don’t buy the BS.
