We yanked our eldest out of the local kindergarten in his second semester, because of all the red flags that were popping up. Our other three have never stepped foot on a public school campus.

Northerners are so much superior to Southerners and their unionized Democrat supporting schoolteachers would never have sex with under aged girls. This could never happen in California or New York where the bastion of liberalism, ethics and morals reside.

Police: Vt teacher sexually assaulted student

A former teacher at the Danville School has been arrested on charges she sexually assaulted a student.

Abby Shocik, 23, of South Burlington, taught music in Danville until she resigned last week after coming under investigation for sexual misconduct with a juvenile student.

Police say Shocik was involved with the student for about a month. She is due to be arraigned next week.

The school superintendent sent a letter to parents Friday to inform them of the situation and to offer support for students, employees and families.
