Ridership on high speed rail in China is only about 800,000 people per day (292 million per year). That is no more than Delta, Southwest and American Airlines combined. Clearly this is an old, outdated technology that will soon go the way of the horse and buggy.

how about giving me a figure that applies right here... how many americans ride the train? Is it old technology? You betcha... is it outdated? Well, here in the technologically advanced FREE nation it is....... take your hippie type public mass transit mind over to some other socialist country.....and yes, here in this wonderful country it already has gone the way of the horse and buggy.....chump
