MEMRI TV ^ | 12--23-11

Following is an excerpt from a sermon delivered by Sunni scholar Sheik Yousuf Al-Qaradhawi, which aired on Qatar TV on December 23, 2011.

Sheik Yousuf Al-Qaradhawi: We stand by our brothers in Turkey. All Muslims must oppose France in [its Armenian genocide bill]. We reject any allegation against the Muslims at any time. Throughout its history, Islam has never wanted to annihilate any nation. This is completely unacceptable.

there is no freedom of speech in Germany, France and England.

here in America you are free to deny the truth all you like. Which is the way it should be...

His statement is true as far as the Armenian genocide is concerned. They didn't annihilate a nations, only a population within another country. My parents and one grandparent came to this country from Turkey. The lived the experience. Three grandparents were killed by the Turds, my maternal grandfather was a bank president, which was also closed, these were stories related to me by my parents. They did not speak often of their experiences because it hurt so bad. The world sat by as this occurred. We are now doing the same with Arab atrocities toward Christians, and Israel. The war to end all wars didn't quite do the trick when it comes to genocide. It has only gotten worse. People ask, if you have a loving and sincere God, why does this happen??? Simple answer, He gave us the wherewithal to make our own decisions to see what we would create. The great accomplishments of society are minuscule compared to the atrocities. Hatred is in a persons soul. Put there from years of experience, lies and contempt of fellow man, not God. Where to next???

Absolutely amazing that France is leading the world in this one while our government is too worried about Turkey to say anything aloud.

Turkey slaughtered all the Armenians they could lay their hands on - between 1 and 1.5 million - and then have spent the last century lying about it.

It's time for the world - and us - to man up and denounce this crime for what it was. If Turkey can't sum up the hoesty to admit what they did, it is time for the world to kick them out of NATO and any other bodies of civilized people.

What is it about Islam that promotes hideous violence and then lies about it? Even the friggin' Nazis that survived admitted their guilt.

Well, the Koran does say to kill infidels, so no good muslim can apologize for doing what the Koran calls a good deed.

Well, I suppose they don't have to apologize - all they have to do is not lie about it. After all, if the Koran says it's OK, then they should be proud of what they've done, right?

Probably not - Their religion seems to require constant lying. i.e., "we're not building a nuclear weapon", "we're not harboring Osama bin Laden", etc..

No doubt they are proud privately, but they probably don’t want to boast to the world because it would really really hurt their foreign relations.

Absolutely amazing that France is leading the world in this one while our government is too worried about Turkey to say anything aloud.

I have long predicted that if Europe decides to fight for its survival, the backlash will start in France. The pacifist French that we've known since the end of WWI have a proud and bloody history. Though suppressed for the past three generations, ruthless violence is still in the Gallic DNA.

Today's Frenchmen are witnessing a conquering invasion by non-assimilating, Stone Age barbarians who have repaid French hospitality and generosity with hatred and violence -- treating their hosts as outsiders in their own homeland. French rage is boiling just below the surface as Europe approaches the crossroads of certain death and a fighting chance.

France may still surrender and lead the rest of Europe to a whimpering death at the hands of its Muslim invaders, but I don't think so. The arrogant refusal of Muslim immigrants to assimilate might well be their undoing. If the worm turns, they will stick out like sore thumbs and have no place to hide. History indicates that strongmen arise at times like these, and that a popular, wholesale slaughter is in the cards for those Mohammedans who refuse to leave.

Europe has no good options, but two clear choices. It can fight for its survival, or continue its slide into slavery and death.
