MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office has charged 29-year-old Jose Luis Discua-Bados with a felony count of First Degree Intentional Homicide, Use of Dangerous Weapon in the death of his wife Dayana Bados.

Dayana Bados' grandmother, Pilar Hernandez told authorities that her granddaughter was afraid of her estranged husband, so she moved in with her grandmother.

Hernandez says her granddaughter was leaving for work, came down stairs to visit the grandmother. She went on the back door and saw Jose Luis Discua-Bados beating the Dayana Bados in the head with a 2x4 board.

The criminal compliant states Discua-Bados went in the home and came back with a knife and started stabbing her in the back of the head and neck multiple times.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim's grandmother told police that the estranged husband, had been deported to Honduras before reentering the United States.

According to police, Jose Luis Discua-Bados stabbed and killed Dayana Bados early Tuesday morning near 13th and W. Dakota.

Bados' two-year-old son was in the home at the time and he's now with child protective services.
