actually, we had two from our AF unit in San Antonio go to Navy dive schools...aforementioned friend went to "hard hat" school in the DC area..another guy from our "office" went to Key West for USN scuba school...reason? our unit was involved in extensive hyperbaric medical research, and the flight surgeons were trying to correlate our tables to USN Dive Tables..thus, through hook or crook, the "entrance" requirements for my AF contemporaries..best I can remember both schools were several months at least...I know when they got back, the AF had to come up with some insignia for them both, because at the time (late 60s), USAF wasn't in the "dive" business..except for hyperbaric chambers. The hyperbaric chambers were justified for the treatment of aviator bends cases. Probably 99.9 percent of aviator bends cases came from hypobaric chamber training..anyhow to get back on topic, I did see Jesse "wrestle" once...

I’m aware of Rates and NEC’s. I was a SFP3 when we started school. Service wide tests occured while in school and we went back to our ship to test. Results and advancement to SFP2 occured after school and we returned to PIEDMONT in San Diego. After completing 2nd Class Diving School, MOS 5343 (Second Class Diver) was added to my personnel file. SFP2 was still primary and (DV) was added to the SFP2 (DV).

Ventura is a truther idiot. I’ve heard him on this radio show before being challenged on his truther nonsense, and he reacted by physically threatening the hosts and then storming out of the studio. Based on what I heard from him in those interviews, I don’t doubt for a second he said this stuff to Chris Kyle, and I’m thrilled Kyle punched him in the mouth. About time someone did...
I'll also say that it might have been a bad idea to “punch” him in the head. He could hurt his gun fingers doing that. Use a baseball bat or a simple open handed/meat of the lower hand hit. Much softer on the knuckles :D
Was the radio show Opie and Anthony? He walked out because the other guest, a comic, was challenging him on the Iraq War. Like I said in my other comment, he is a bully who deliberately intimidates people who disagree with him.
Best news I have heard all year. And for the record he got knocked on his ass when he was 54. Which was well deserved based on my knowledge of his loud mouth.
