18% (Newt)+ 5% (Perry)+24% (Santorum) = 47%.

Can’t conservatives add, or is it all ego?

If two of these conservatives dropped out, Mitty would be history.

exactly! which is why the media hyped Santorum right before Iowa, to keep him in the race. That way their Mormon messiah can get the nomination.

Here on FR, where some of us just luuuuuv to devote post after post after post to trashing "Newtbots" or "Perrybots" (I suspect "Santbots" has already been coined by some freeper).....Yes. Yes, it IS all ego. All of it.

You can bet that Ricardo is doing somebody's bidding. By staying in he's helping the Party bigwigs get their boy.

See tagline.

I was just thinking about this last night. I’ve been supporting Perry, but the thing that hit me was: Perry would raise taxes. He would negotiate the baby away in terms of tax increases. He did it here in Texas, and it actually worked out kind of well because we would up with a surplus when the rest of the country was drowning in red ink. But it was still a tax increase, and it was still offensive.

that’s why I was hoping Perry would step out, since he’s the lowest of the conservatives now and we have to compete against Romney...not split the vote.

You've been on FR long enough to know the answer to that question.

The suggestion by any one candidate's supporters that the other two should take one for the team would be met by outraged howls of "RINO!" and accusations that they're trying to "muzzle" the TRUE CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE!!!!

If they're supporters are this bad, what do you think the actual politicians are like?
