Todd Palin Endorses Newt Gingrich
ABC News ^ | Jan 9, 2012 | ABC News’ Santina Leuci and Z. Byron Wolf reporting

Sarah Palin’s husband is endorsing Newt Gingrich for president, Todd Palin told ABC News today.

But Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and John McCain’s 2008 Republican running mate, has yet to decide “who is best able to go up against Barack Obama,” Todd Palin said.

Palin said he has not spoken to Gingrich or anyone from the former House speaker’s campaign. But he said he respects Gingrich for what he went through in the 1990s and compared that scrutiny in public life to what Sarah Palin went through during her run for the vice presidency.

I was watching Fox News over the weekend and Frank Luntz was their with his focus group in New Hampshire and the only candidate that showed up was Newt Gingrich! The others had their surrogates, but they didn’t think it was important enough to show up I guess!

This is pure a simple payback to Romney for all the bad crap that he and his supporters put the Palins through since 2008!

Todd, get your revenge now and we will have your back!

Actually it was McCain’s people who did it to Palin.

Not true.

McCain’s staff did the intricate damage, but Romney and the republican elites, did the follow up damage and had a lot to do with the lawsuits in Alaska to keep her from running in this election cycle.

It was Romney’s turn.

What is also great news is that The Donald hinted that his eye was on Newt as the one who had the greatest ability to beat Zer0. Gretta went down the list and Trump gave his analysis of each of them. All were found to be deficient. Gretta did not ask about Newt and wink wink, she did not have to. The Donald wants Newt.

Well, I hope all the nay sayers heard Todd say, “I endorsed Gingrich because...........” over the phone to Greta. Why is it every time the Palin name is mentioned the destroyers come out of the woodwork. Why do they hate somebody they have never met? What have the Palins ever done to them? I’ve never seen so much nastiness on FR until Sarah hit the public in 08. Who can explain it?

. . Sarah Palin is prohibited from giving an endorsement because of her Faux News contract . . Because Sarah knows that we need to rally around Gingrich before the South Carolina vote. The calculus is clear. He's the only one who can beat Mittens and Obama.

Yes, Sarah trying to help Newt. If Newt doesn't take South Carolina and Mitt goes on to take Florida, then will/can Sarah jump in? Everyone will scream no, but legally can she? I think she can. Will she? Who knows. Will she have a chance? Why not try? Our country is at stake. Mitt will just slow down our demise. Sarah will work to revive and restore America.

I don't think we can wait until 2016 or 2020. God only knows what shape our Sacred Republic will be in by then. The economy, debt, culture, unemployment, appeasement, - you name it - are all getting worse exponentially.

Newt/Sarah 2012. If not, then Sarah/Newt 2012!

Well, the political parties have their own rules, so she'd have to file to get on the ballot in those states whose deadlines hadn't elapsed (are there any left?)

She might be setting herself up to have to run as an Independent, if Mitt takes SC and FLA. More than likely, too many filing dates would have gone by for her to capture enough delegates in the Republican nominating contest by that time.

We sure would see that "unconventional" campaign she talked about, wouldn't we?

I've even had the thought that Sarah has looked at the big picture, and the trajectory the country's headed on, and has concluded that the system is corrupted and broken beyond all redemption - and that she will step into a leadership role in the 'picking up the pieces' phase.

Get ready for the Sarah Palin endorsement of Mitt Romney.

I think she has said all along that she would support the GOP nominee to defeat Obama.

While Romney might not be their(the Palin’s) first choice - at least Todd’s endorsement allows them to use some of the “Palin influence” to try to shift some momentum to Gingrich.

She has to save her support for who ever gets the nomination.

I think McCain’s endorsement of Romney helps Gingrich more than Todd’s endorsement of Gingrich :P

She may be, but the longer we wait, the harder it will be, plus there's always the risk of outright revolution. If we have to go there, so be it, but was hoping the ballot box would be the answer. We the People will never accept tyranny, soft or otherwise.

“...the prohibitive favs among conservatives in SC, the decider state.”

Have you ever thought how ridiculous it is, with 47 of 50 states not having had even one crossover voter, much less having a republican primary voter, cast even one single primary ballot, and no County Convention having voted on one State Convention Delegate, much less any State Covention deciding on who their delegates to the National Convention will be, we the people - the grassroots if you will - are accepting that South Carolina is the “decider state” and it is about to be “decided” for us who our presidential nominee is going to be?

She wouldn’t e te only one thinking that way. I’m hunkering down hard for the train to hit the mountain.

It's a testament to the basic goodness of the American people, that even in the face of real treason against them by their government, and overwhelming evidence that politicians up and down the food chain are working overtime to rip out the foundation blocks of our constitutional republic, they have not erupted in widespread violence and insurrection.

In my view, we've got to get this right in 2012. If we don't, we may not even have a system to work within by 2016.
