Yes, Perry’s presence in NH cost conservatives two delegates. He is helping Romney.

Guys:

NH is a non-starter. If anything, Romney got hurt tonight because Huntsman will carry on to SC and FL, and those votes are going to come right out of Mitt’s hyde.

NH voted for Liberals/Libertarians by a 3-1 margin over Conservatives. It has a handful of delegates, and gives them out proportionately. It is not in the least bit representative of the GOP at large.

For me the biggest concern is still the Santuckabee coalition. He could very well SINGLE-HANDEDLY crown Mitt Romney the nominee in SC and FL. We are all going to pay dearly, just as we did with Huckabee, for the doings of a handful of Pastors in Iowa who keep ignoring acceptable Christian Conservatives with national presence in the name of “purer” Christian Conservatives who have no chance in hell of winning the nomination.

I will never forgive Rick Santuckabee if he does what is looks like he might do in the next twenty days, NEVER!

SC is the firewall for Conservatives. If Romney wins, the race is effectively over. I hope that enough Santuckabee supporters understand the stakes well enough to make the right choice and stop Romney by supporting Newt.

If you follow the thread, I did not suggest anyone should drop out, but I thought mylife was suggesting that Newt should drop out based on delegates. I was mistaken. Another poster had suggested that Perry should drop out. I see no reason to panic. Let’s move on to SC and see who develops a following. I do think Huntsman will fade quickly though.

I don’t even understand the rationale behind open primaries. It makes no sense to me. Why would Rats and Indies me allowed to vote in Republican primaries?

Your slogan has some merit, TitansAFC, but Newt is a weak sister himself.

Mission accomplished for Romney if they both fall short.

Not only does he manage to win, he manages to skunk all the conservatives and deprive close to 20 percent of the population from having any representation.

Like I said, party of stupid.

You are only annoying because 2/3 of your posts were attacking Perry or pleading for him to get out.

I admire your passion, especially if you are arguing with Paultards. What an utter disaster that man is.

Perry decided to stay in and I would think that conservatives would welcome that, in case the two other conservatives continue to shoot themselves in the foot or various other parts of their bodies.

There may be a point at which the three conservative candidates need to join together and defeat Romney but, unfortunately, none of them seem to want to get out. The voters will sort it out.

If Perry doesn’t catch fire, I am for Newt and hope he can keep his mouth shut for five minutes.

The idea of open primaries is to attract new supporters from the other party. It is fatally flawed for conservatives.

TitansAFC..I am sick. Watching Rove just gloat and Fox news so full of glee. I am sicker than a thoroughbred grazing on astro turf. I am annoyed too. Feel like I am in the twilight zone of elections. People I always respected such as Krauthammer, Sabato and to an extent Rove are all my enemies now? and Fox news? wth is going on here....

If that was going to happen, it would have occurred by now. The conservative vote is split and with Romney leading in SC, it is just about over. The conservatives raked each other over the coals and left Romney alone. Unbelievable. Newt's acid response has hurt him, but please understand that Romney did not hurt himself by winning tonight.

Mitt won't be so bad...National Review said so.

Perry is having a big impact on the race, it seems to me, by making our fourth-place conservative weaker than he would have been otherwise and denying him a delegate too.
