Looks like he is doubling down, saying there is a difference between Venture Capitalism and Vulture Capitalism.

Watch Newt back off and was his hands, leaving Perry with the bag.

Just got home, actually impressed that Romney got less than 40% command of a liberal open primary 12 GOP Convention Delegate state that borders his own state. I'm interested in the 4th place race between Gingrich and Santorum and would like to see the spending stats.

I would also like to see the vote numbers for Vermin Supreme if any, but something tells me Fox News won't show that info!

Welp, Miss Altura, I am annoyed as hell. This election seems to be fixed. I would not be surprised if it was the Mitt Machine that got rid of Cain. I was not on the Cain train. So IF I am annoying....that is because watching Rove, Paultard and others put me in the mood. Should have grabbed a bottle of zinfandel from town tonight.
To your relief...I am leaving now and going to watch a chick flick or good movie. IF Romney wins...I am out of politics and my fighting days are over....we will be done. Peace!

Watch Newt back off and was his hands, leaving Perry with the bag.

I thought the exact same thing.

You are so rude to Senator Santorum. I laugh because Santorum basically won Iowa and is doing better than Newt. Newt cannot get enough voters to support him....that is the question you should ask yourself. Newt had 40 percent at one point and finished fourth and maybe fifth in NH. You must look at things differently then I do, but I will tell you that I look at results and that is what matters and since that is what counts than Santorum is the better candidates.

Sorry, it’s hard to follow these live threads. I saw several posters calling for Perry to drop out.

South Carolina is an Open Primary. Florida is a Closed Primary.

So Florida is the first "real" primary? Hope the Newt supporters work 24/7 down there. This is getting serious. If Mitt wins, then it's another 4 yrs of Obama. I really think Newt could beat Obama, depending on who his VP is. . .

.3 of 1 percent can be a formidable gap to overcome when a delegate is at stake. Perry and even Roemer helped out Mittens here.

Should have grabbed a bottle of zinfandel from town tonight.

Well get one for 21 January because you will be celebrating the win of one of the three conservatives. There is no way that SC is going with Romney. We can at least have comfort in that fact.

Anyone else notice Newt never attacked Romney once in his speech? This is not good at all.

I hope they are not backing off handing Romney the nomination. That’s what I feared the most, and the lack of Newt going after Romney in any way, I don’t see any other way to look at that as other then, well it’s time to back off because Mitt has it.
