With this I cannot argue. We either fight like hell now, or fight IN hell later. It is up to us...

Once Coos is done, if Santorum is close, it’s his.

Fingers crossed.

Santorum should be allowed to contest Romney face to face in SC; Newt is too error-prone despite his excellent debate credentials. Santorum is slow and steady, potentially reliable, compared to the others. Rick Perry though thinks he will sweep SC. We’ll have to wait eleven nights.

The race for 10% is still worth watching, and depending on whether fourth and fifth place are worked into delegate allocation, I think that it may be fairly close as to how the final delegate falls—whether to Paul or Romney.

Why is Huntsman in the race? /rhetorical question

I have my own thoughts on Newt’s agenda.

The lack of posts here tonight makes me wonder if our people are demoralized and expected pretty much the miserable results we are viewing.

Buddy Roemer, denied entry into the debates, is even having an impact; his votes alone would have been about enough to give Newt and Santorum one delegate each had they been equally divided.

From Twitter:

GetsGreasedMike My 18 year old son, the genius asks, "who in the hell let two states that voted for Obama in 2008 decide the #GOP nominee?" #tcot #p2

Love the pic!

Romney was a given in Red Hampshire, so no one really cares...no excitement to speak of...

Sorry but this doesn’t seem like much of a win, I figured Romney would be over 50%.

“It is dawning on me, Romey’s gonna be our nominee and Obama is going to win re-election.”

Maybe, maybe not. If mittens makes a deal and gets the Paul faction behind him, he might pull it off. Not that there is much difference between mittens and barky, but I don’t think barky has this one in the bag just yet.

Wait for the other shoe to drop.

Why would I be demoralized?

I’m not pleased with the results, that’s for sure, but demoralized? No.

Romney’s under 40.

I’ve had a new lease on life since Iowa. If you want demoralized, think of how I felt going into Iowa.

Romney would have surpassed 100,000 easily if he also had the votes of his third cousin, Jon Huntsman, Jr.

I saw a post about the virginia ballot case today and the more I think about it the more I think Perry is only staying in until that case is decided.

Nothing will be finalized until late Feb/early March as there will be too many delegates outstanding - this will be a long drawn out issue. Mitt isn’t going to get a free ride to the nomination... if for no other reason than Newt won’t let him.

While it would be great to see everyone settle on Newt, Rick, or Rick I don’t think anyone else will drop till after either SC or FL... unless Perry is only waiting for the court thing in VA to drive it through for someone else.
