don’t support him however the nutjobs who support Paul are not conservatives or republicans .
The nutjob they support and yes they are total dumb idiotic screw balls are voting for a frail old confused man who has ran 3 times, uses the GOP when he is not a republican but a screw ball libertarian and he has only passed one bill in how many years?

As for Paul and his nutbag supporters then are they happy to get rid of the CIA, FBI, NSA and have incest legal, marrying a dog, crack house next to a school and have his foreign policy and think Iran is no threat

Yes they are because all the nutters care about is getting drugs legal and having anarchy .
The his supporters wonder why they get banned on here.

Why are you supporting that nutbag?

You’re a social conservative and you vote for nutbag, then no way are you one.
Marry a dog, homosexuals , get rid of the legal age of sex because in his mind who is the Govt to decide who can have sex with who and where, make all drugs legal.

If you still support that lunatic then wake the hell up.

Is there some reason why Rick Perry is still in the race? I can’t see it.

Everybody knew he would carry New Hampshire. Let’s see what happens in South Carolina and Florida. None of the primaries are winner-take-all delegates.

Yeah and that worked out real well didn’t. It got us Jimmy Carter.

Factually incorrect.

What got us Jimmy Carter was Ford's pardon of Nixon not the fact that he won these two primaries.

Holder can even supply guns to the drug cartels more easily. For the good of the country, boot the Southwest out the door. Mexico will thank you profusely.

“What got us Jimmy Carter was Ford’s pardon of Nixon not the fact that he won these two primaries.”

You got a point. But Reagan almost took that nomination in ‘76. And if Ford could manage to fall just short of defeating Carter, you got believe the Gipper would have beat Carter.

But what’s done is done. We got Regan 4 years later to clean up Carters mess.

(BTW: I was only 5 in 1976, but I remember that election. And I’ve read enough about since then)

There’s so much wrong with this it’s hard to know where to begin.

The reforms of the 1970s have destroyed the traditional process. The replacement is deeply unsatisfactory.

First of all, “winning”, “big victory”, etc. should never be applied to 34% support. It is essential that, to win all of the delegates from a state, that a candidate have supermajority support (like 67% or more).

Second, the process should be arranged so that there is no winner until June. That used to be normal, and it would be easy to go back.

Third, no primary which allows non-Republicans to vote should be used to assign delegates.

Take heart in the fact that Conservatives are not being rejected by Republican voters.

Shead a tear that the Republican party still thinks it can with with a ‘cut-down’ Liberal, when the Dems want the real thing, a full blown leftist.
