Yet another teen has used deadly force to protect his home from intruders.

Police in North Carolina revealed a 14-year-old boy shot dead an intruder attempting to break into his home while he and his sister were alone.

The teen opened fire with a shotgun while his 17-year-old sister hid in a closet as a gang of men attempted to smash their way into their home.

Investigators released a 911 call with the teen calmly describing how he shot the intruder.

In the call, the teen, says: 'I just shot the man. He came around the corner. I shot him. He broke the whole glass out (of the back door).'

He continues: 'I don't know how many it was (who broke in). Just one came around the corner. I got one more in the chamber. I'm going to shoot again,' the boy said.

The incident took place two days before 18-year-old Sarah McKinley shot and killed an intruder breaking into her home in Oklahoma

While on the phone with 911, the young mother shot and killed one of the intruders with a 12-gauge shotgun after he forced his way inside her home.

The teen, who was told to do what she could to protect her three-month-old baby, has been flooded with messages of praise from well wishers.

In the North Carolina incident, police said the 14-year-old and his sister were at home in the rural town of Henderson when four men tried to break into the house.

Michael Anthony Henderson Jr, 19, was shot dead.

He staggered away from the house and collapsed where he was found by police.

His brother Seneca, 20, and one other man Andrew Terry, 23, have already been charged in the case.

Police are still searching for a third man named as 21-year-old Jatwaun Davis.

“I’m guessing he isn’t a Headstart graduate. Anybody fluent in this “language”?”

Then again, maybe it is a Headstart grad:

“Everyone should be proud that a kid was home alone and had to deal with this situation? Where the hell is the 2 parents?? One parent???? Where the heck was the person that was supposed to be responsible for this child, who has access to a shotgun? Where the fludging palacitude is the father and the mother?”

The boy is 14. His sister, home at the time, is 17.

In most states 12 or 13 is allowed as an age to babysit. Let alone stay home alone!

Parents are not required to stay home with kids until they are 18, for heaven’s sake.

Jerry: 12 gauge. Seems to be the most popular gauge.

George: My favorite.

Jerry: Mine too, love the 12 gauge.

George: Makes the 11 gauge look like a cap pistol.

All my life I had to move my daddy’s pistol if I needed something out of his sock drawer. I could shoot that pistol when I was half this boy’s age.

Growing up with guns is normal for a lot of us, and we were taught right from wrong where gun safety was concerned.

I’m an over protective mother hen sometimes, but 14 is plenty old enough to stay home alone. This boy knew exactly what to do and did it.

What more do you want?

I can translate (paraphrasing):

The brothers been watching too much TV and music. Even 14 year olds laying them out. Watch what you do or it can happen to you.

I shot my first deer when I was 13.

Prayers offered up for the mental peace of that brave young man. It was still four against one and anything could have happened.

He continues: 'I don't know how many it was (who broke in). Just one came around the corner. I got one more in the chamber. I'm going to shoot again,' the boy said.

'Do not, while I’m on the phone do not fire that firearm, OK?' the dispatcher says

'What if another one comes in the house, ma'am?' he asked'Let me know, OK, if you see anybody. I will let you know (when a deputy gets to the house),' the dispatcher responded.

Good thing the kid defended himself before he called 911.

Is it just me, but why do stories like this get published by UK papers and websites and not in the United States where the events actually happen?

Could it be the American MSM has an agenda to disarm the citizenry? Of course not, how silly to even think that. (sarcasm off)

I agree. He did well and has nothing to feel guilty or distressed about.

All that being said, the sister needs to learn that hiding in a closet isn't a particularly effective self-defense strategy. The two of them together, both armed, would have been much more effective if, say, the thugs had decided to rush the young man.

Yep, the sister needs to learn good gun control (by that, I mean, proper firearm handling and safety).

The boy probably saved the girl from being gang raped at the least.

At the worst, it could have been another Knoxville race hate slaughter like the Newsom/Christian case:

Five animals car-jacked a white couple. They raped Christopher Newsom, cut off his penis, then set him on fire and fatally shot him several times while they forced his girlfriend, Channon Christian, to watch. An even more cruel fate awaited her.
Channon Christian, was beaten and gang-raped in many ways for four days by all of them, while they took turns urinating on her. Then they cut off her breast and poured clorox in her mouth ... and then murdered her. Her body was found in pieces in garbage bags.

It was found that this was not a ‘hate crime’ by the authorities. In fact, it was covered up by the media and only became known through the internet.
None of the animals responsible for this heinous crime got the death penalty.

.

Hmm. Looks like a combination of prisom/criminal cant and hiphop. The poster says that he is an ex-convict (”...I had just left so I was being watched...”). but he would have done the same thing in the same circumstances.

Even another criminal thinks these 4 thugs were stupid and the boy did the right thing.
