Juan Williams tried to pin Newt down over his “poor kids should be janitors” answer from some time ago, and tried to make it about race. Newt took the opportunity to own Williams over asking the question, and got a partial standing ovation for it in the end.

Juan can’t help himself, he has to throw the race card every chance he gets.

You had to have seen it. It was the most remarkable political statement that I have ever seen.

He COMPLETELY STRIPPED all political correctness from his reply and stated what all conservatives had waited so long to hear...........THE TRUTH!

Newt took every question he was asked last night to the woodshed. It was an amazing display.

Newt won that debate going away, and anyone saying otherwise is wrong.

Now, within that debate, I did notice something about Romney. Romney intentionally goes for other people’s applause lines and wraps himself in them with nearly the same words pretending that somehow he is the source of the thought.

He did so at least twice last night, and definitely with Newt’s line about killing enemies.

That is another reason Romney will lose to Obama. In fact, he would lose a debate to Obama. For one, he can’t be wrapping himself in Obama’s applause lines.

He’ll be left defending the idea that Romneycare is better than Obamacare. After all, his record proves he’s for taxes, for abortion, for gay marriage.

We are heading into an primary in which 3 conservatives are ensuring the victory of Romney.

Perry is obviously the lower tier of the 3 and should do the Huntsman kind of thing and drop out. I was an original Perry supporter. It’s just gotten to the point that Romney cannot be permitted to win in S Carolina because 3 conservatives can’t agree on the make-up of their future cabinet, which is stupid, because if Romney wins, not one of those 3 will be in any cabinet whatsoever.

HA!!
He does do that doesn’t he?

He also seems very uncomfortable when someone else is getting some love from the audience. His face gets very tight and pinched.

Newt was far and away the best debater, best idea man, and best excitement generator in that room last night.

“Take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”—Ephesians 6:17

The sword of TRUTH needs to be taken up by all of us, and especially the candidates. Speak the Truth, and let the people decide whether they want to support you, or prefer lies.

Political Correctness, ie, “Cultural Marxism”, is simply defined as the suppression of the truth and the punishment of its telling.

I thought all candidates did well tonight, except Mitt. It struck me how he was incapable of taking personal responsibility for his mistakes..i.e. it wasn’t his fault what his PAC put out; it wasn’t his fault he had a democratic legislature during his tenure as governor and had to lean to the left; and on his income tax return, well, other candidates in years past have waited until April....excuses..excuses. Mitt has that weasel factor, that, like them or not, the other candidates don’t seem to have. To say, he lacks the courage of his convictions is an understatement, as he seems to have no convictions.

If Fox set this up to showcase “their boy,” they got egg on their face. And, I agree with you, Mitt’s hat was handed to him. Let’s hope SC voters agree.

Did ya’ll see Juan William’s face when Newt finished and the audience went wild? If he was a cartoon character he would have steam rising from his ears!

I agree, I only tune in to the debates to listen to Newt tell the truth and knock it out of the park with moments like this.

Anyone who doesn’t support Newt needs to have their head examined or is a liberal.

Most of the Newt haters know very little about him, or his actual stellar record as speaker. Instead, they keep repeating the same tired rhetoric and narrow, intellectually dishonest propaganda they have heard repeated by others. They are shallow, bitter, and mostly ignorant people who cannot see beyond their own bias. Plain and simple.

seriously, you nearly described my reaction to a T, I honestly had tears in my eyes.

I honestly believe with all my heart that Newt NEEDS to be our next president. We have been given a once in a lifetime gift with Newt ... and if we choose to let it slip through our fingers and into the slimy hands of Mutt Romney then God help us.

yep, it has taken me awhile to notice it too, but your right Romney jumps in and basically says.. me too! but worse than that .. over time he actually starts to incorporate parts of his opponents and past presidents lines into nearly every answer he gives... the only thing is ... it comes across as fake and contrived. Every time he slips a Reagan quote in like “shining city of a hill” I nearly hurl.

Last night perry used newts winning argument about Christian discrimination from the NH debate and packaged it as his own. Romney has been doing that for months because he doesn’t think quick on his feet with any substance. How is that going to work for Romney with Obama? It will be the most frustrating debates to watch.

Political theater for the entertainment of the masses.

Geez.. how petty of you.... go piss up a rope.

Quit using the language of the left. Americans aren't masses. They're people, not things.
