Perry was great tonight too, but I think Newt sewed it up. He was outstanding.
Yes! Time to back Newt!
Newt was on Greta one night early in his campaign and she asked him how it is going. He halted a moment and said it hurts to hear the things people say about him but he is fine. That was before they began attacking Newt vehemently with no letup. I have lost all respect for Fox news. I can say Eric Bolling seems decent and Greta wanted Newt to fight back against the ads but I have found many others to be willing to sell their souls for their agenda and I can never watch Fox again with the same respect. He is in for the fight of his life but at least he fights!
Another thing I noticed tonight. Newt and Perry are the only candidates with that fire in the belly. They also have that attitude that makes them real indignant when you diss their country.
Remember when Reagan and Bobby Kennedy were assailed by a bunch of students about Vietnam? Kennedy was all mealy mouthed and apologetic.
Reagan stood up and let them have it. Pointed out that if the USA was a warmonger wanting to conquer the world, we could have done it after World War II, and NO ONE could have stopped us. Then he schooled them on what we really stand for.
Is that right? Hmmm. How pathetic! Maybe she can get another night on Redeye to call Newt really really really crazy the next time and see if that helps her dud candidate.

I think Romney got his hat and fanny handed to him tonight. I just can’t stand to listen to him..he stutters and stammers and will try to avoid answering the questions and tonight he didn’t get away with it.
I think Newt did a great job and I agree he should put these good answers in his ads, I think Perry did ok too for a change though I don’t think he will win..he did get a few hits..And Ron Paul...my goodness he goes on like a man ready for the rest home..his giggles and hysteria..while he does make some good points, he is just too flighty and hysterical..I cannot see him going up against 0bama..he would end up like chopped liver. And Santorum I don’t know...
Romeny got down in the mud first and now wonders why what goes around is coming around...

Just watched the rerun of the debate...saw it the first time and was just as impressed.. I thine Newt hit it out of the park and I just wonder what the odds would be if Newt gets the nomination how likely it might be that he would select Perry as his VP? I think they think more alike than not..Maybe they could make a great team.

If after this debate anyone still supports Santorum or Perry they’re only hurting themselves.
I don't know what it is about Santorum, but he reminds me of a whiny, little weasel.
As for Perry, he had his best debate so far (IMHO) and other than Newt, he is the only one who was the least big aggressive, which is the kind of candidate we need who is not going to be a mealy-mouthed WUSS, like Mittens, who continues to REFUSE to admit that Dear Leader's policies and programs as intentionally designed to harm this country.
HOW ANY CONSERVATIVE can possible support Romney is beyond me and I'm perplexed on how he continues to lead in the polls.
I give the edge to this debate to my guy Mr. Newt.

Newt may say some weird things once in a while, but if you give him 30 seconds he can convince you that he was right all along. Nobody, not even Rush, can give such clear concise answers in so few words to such obviously loaded questions. I would pay $1000 for a pay per view debate between Obama and Newt.
