But if non-Paul conservatives rallied around Santorum, he’d demolish Romney.

The only thing preventing that from happening is Newt’s meglomania. Gingrich simply wouldn’t win in the general even if he demolished Obama in the debates.

Newt overall is not likeable, too much baggage, and reminds me of the smart ass kid in the front row at school, raising his hand, saying “ooh ooh, call on me, I know who was the first Caeser in the 2nd century BC who dumped his first 2 wives, before going to Tiffany’s to spend a half a mill for the third!!!”

He would be eaten alive and ABC and his 2nd wife are doing us a favor by reminding us of that fact NOW!

Truth is......we all need to reject this crap and thus reject the media. You are telling me that they couldn’t and still can’t find anything in bamas past that is more important than newts ex wife from the 90’s? This is disgusting and we need to say enough is enough. Just head a gal named heather on BOR that was a campaign mgr for John Edwards. She had the audacity to question romneys investments. When BOR asked her if they were illegal she said “no, but he should have done what was right.”. Had to laugh out loud.

I see the A-holes at ABC ginning up a non story or something that most people already know about so that they can lay a cloud of doubt over Newt at a time when he could beat Mittens in SC. They will hold the “story” until Monday and then when it comes out, it will have already caused it’s damage.

Let’s not forget, the Leftists and the Regime have telegraphed that they are scared of a Conservative but would love to have Wall Street Romney to run against. Look no further than comments by Donna Brazile and the Regimes support of Occupy dopes.

I believe that Newt was prepared for this and this will be the time that Callista rises to take on the story.

Newt won’t have to say much with Callista being the point person.

That 1995 Vanity Fair interview now has its own thread.

Is Santorum a natural born citizen? His dad immigrated from Italy and naturalized at some point but was it before Rick was born? We need to know.

I’ve posted this before. Several conservative, evangelical friends of mine have stated flat out that they could not vote for Newt due to his past morality and would sit out this election. That was before this latest rehash from ABC.

Are they not familiar with asking for God's forgiveness? Not all Christians understand this concept, so maybe they aren't familiar with it.

I'm not a fan of divorced folks or affairs, but if somebody publicly admits their mistakes, repents, and asks for God's forgiveness, I can accept that.

I'm not Catholic, but not going to hold it against Newt either since I don't have a problem with Catholics or Catholicism.

I won’t dignify your query further.

“We need Senator Santorum.”

Then Senator Santorum needs to stop campaigning like a high school kid running for student council.

You are correct. I’ve been saying for days that I’d vote for Gingrich if I had to, but he will not be controllable. We will regret him as president.

Bitter, table for one.

Jackie needs to sit front and center at the next debate.

I certainly understand asking for God’s foregiveness (in addition to my wife’s!).

But Newt appears to be a serial adulterer.

If there is a candidate without such baggage, then go for that candidate. Santorum appears to be the best of the bunch (although I know that isn’t necessarily saying much!)

While not as quick as a debater as Newt, Santorum has acquitted himself well during the recent debates and gave a fantastic speech the night of the Iowa caucuses which reminded me of Reagan (who I had the fortune of hearing in person at a campaign rally in North Carolina)

If that’s Santorum’s stance, then I will never dignify him with a vote. I’ve already got Obama to spit on the Constitution and laugh at my concern for the rule of law; I don’t need a Republican to do that to me too.

Newt will make it hard for them to use the race card again in shielding Obama. Romney in many ways, seems like a repeat of McCain. Especially after they both agree on NDAA. Same people will be recycled.
