EXCERPT

Paraphrasing Marianne Gingrich’s account, Mr. Ross said, “He came to her and said I want to stay married to you and still have an affair with Callista.” Marianne said Mr. Gingrich asked her “share” him, Mr. Ross said. That was unacceptable to her and the marriage ended.

Ok, you call keeping your private laundry private Not Courageous, then Newt is more courageous than Rush, leaving it up to ABC, etc., to see if they can coax your ex-wives to chat. Bad leadership.

Newt is one dog of a man, he ought to wear a sheet to cover himself up, he is so ugly.

Then we probably shouldn’t get upset when they act like we did with Clinton?

I resent your comment! Many of us women know what it is like to be cheated on by exhusbands. Many of us women are thrown into turmoil just because their third leg can’t stay in control. I liked Newt, but I read many many facebook posts about Newt being a grumpy, fat, old fart. Yes, they were from libs, but I don’t see this stuff helping him. The libs goal is to take each person down one by one by one, just like thy did with Cain. MSM tells these stupid people you speak about what to think. They voted Obama into office. Don’t be so smug!

I disagree.

Disagree with what? You disagree with this, which is what I said in #160?

It will affect the vote of some number of possible Newt voters. It's a question of how many.

This will do some amount of damage.

I agree. He could end up getting sympathy.

I was going to tell you that I agree with your commnets on Newt. Though I am not a phsycologist, I did take more then a couple of college level classes on the subject, Newt has issues, and he is more then a little pathological. I worked in a field having to do with your expertise. It’s not just that I took some classes either. I understand completely what you are talking about.

Nobody cares if you think Newt is ugly. Says more about you, than it does about him. What it says is not very good.

Looks like it. I’m sure had Newt stayed with #2, the indiscretion with #1 would not have impacted his moral value as a Presidential candidate.

Hi Will,

If you read my post again you’ll see I was objecting to Strategerist’s two options for Gingrich. Since he was in a conversation with you at the time, and you were not being quite so extreme, I pinged you also. But, his name was the first on the ping, normally indicating the one being addressed.

Any time I hear the term “family values” I want to barf...it is meaningless since no one knows what goes on on someone elses marriage....Useless, knee jerk phrase...and everyone things the other guy thinks they are thinking of the same values. Silly as the term homophobe. meaningless.

So then Marianne helped break up a marriage and then she complains when it happens to her.

And I'm sure Callista will do the same when it happens to her. I think you mischaracterize Newt's history.

Not in the least. If anything I understate it.

I suspect the timing on this. Money is changing hands. Follow the money.

I see the usual MittBots are screaming at the top of their lungs about Newt...they can put this in their pipes and smoke it.

CHARLESTON, S.C. — The Daily Caller has learned that 100 tea party leaders from 25 states will announce Thursday that they are supporting Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and will form a coalition called Tea Partiers With Newt.

The news comes as signs appear that tea partiers here in South Carolina, which holds a primary Saturday, may be coalescing around Gingrich.

“My sense is there is a growing coalition behind Newt Gingrich,” Joe Dugan, who leads the state’s chapter of Tea Party Patriots, told TheDC.

A news release that will go out Thursday from the Gingrich campaign says the coalition will “help elect Newt and defeat Massachusetts Moderate Mitt Romney and then President Barack Obama.”

I wish Newt would stop calling Mitt the “Massachusetts Moderate.” He might be moderate for Mass. but he’s a flaming liberal in my book.

Hell, in MY book NEWT is a moderate.

“I’m for newt. He’s the only one with a chance to beat Obama.”

really? What supports that comment? Is it your opinion that most of the country will vote for Newt, over the other republican candidates? With all due respect, the political purist won’t win this election. You have to grab the middle 20% that gave obama the election. Now, think about it. Does Newt appeal to the middle third on the strength of his intellectualism,..or does someone else?

As for me, i’m still out on who to vote for. ABO (anyone but obama)

I know that its difficult for all you Newt lovers to stay focus while he implodes before you,..you will engage in mental gymnastics to justify his behavior all such as 1) he’s smart; 2) he was conservative before it was cool; 3) he does so well in debates.... puhleez.

There is just something odd about Santorum. But there has always been something odd about Romney. I think there is a general conservative in the country that feel the same way. Maybe some un-named conservative will still jump into the race in June.
