I agree as long as he doesn't start bashing capitalism again.
Yikes, I hadn’t thought of that. Thanks!
Using divorcees to attack opposition candidates is Obama's trademark.
This brainwashing by Obama and his minions has got to stop!
Welcome aboard, peace and God bless you, napscoordinator.
I’m with you, JimRob. The process of elimination had gotten me there, too.
I said nothing of the sort. I’m just telling you that the MSM has a double standard. They would excuse Klintoon or Obama of rape and murder. They WON’T listen to your excuses for Newt.
They won’t.
They just won’t.
You are living in a fantasy world if you think that Newt’s “let me have my mistress” won’t be used to destroy him in the general election.
After seeing the media, et al’s onslaught on Newt (I figured it was coming) I realize he’s the last one standing that they’re really scared of. At this point, I’m with you- Go Newt!! Thank God for FR, and Jim Robinson- Dear Patriot!
Santorum factoid: Santorum endorsed Arlen Specter. Yes, the always liberal, once a Republican, and the traitor who was the 60th vote for Obamacare. Every real conservative in PA had always voted against Specter in primaries. Specter's picture is in the dictionary next to the definition for RINO. If you look closely in the picture's background, you'll see Santorum, the former junior Senator from PA, carrying Specter's bags.
A vote for Santorum is a vote for Willard.
Newt is our best chance against Romney according to the poll numbers, Santorum isn't even close.
“or all we can go on is what he was in the 80s ?”
90’s. It was the 90’s, sweetheart, as in 1994. He did a job no other Republican has ever done and that was take back the House of Representatives in the United States Congress which had been dominated by the Democrats for 40 years. He did that. When we knew the House had to be ours and no hope was there to get it, Newt took it. The Democrats had a solid lock on it but Newt broke that lock.
He implemented the Contract with America:
On the first day of their majority in the House, the Republicans promised to pass eight major reforms:
1.require all laws that apply to the rest of the country also apply to Congress;
2.select a major, independent auditing firm to conduct a comprehensive audit of Congress for waste, fraud or abuse;
3.cut the number of House committees, and cut committee staff by one-third;
4.limit the terms of all committee chairs;
5.ban the casting of proxy votes in committee;
6.require committee meetings to be open to the public;
7.require a three-fifths majority vote to pass a tax increase;
8.guarantee an honest accounting of the Federal Budget by implementing zero base-line budgeting.
Under his leadership a variety of real conservative laws were passed, something even now the Republican house refuses to do.
My husband and I voted absentee today for Newt. The Greenville SC voting office was packed w voters. I work with the head of Newt’s campaign in Upstate SC. She has been saying all week that he will win on Saturday. Many of the undecided are breaking for him. We think Romney is done.
BTTT! LOL
“Newt would be wise to offer a vp spot to Santorum, and Santorum, being a young guy, would be wise to accept it.”
Totally agree! That would be a GREAT ticket!
Get lost yourself.
In la la land. Call me when you wake up to four more years of Obama, whether he defeats Romney or Newt. Who he defeats don’t matter much when he defeats them.
” Are we trying to force Santorum out? “ <<<
In a word, “Yes”. It would be helpful to the cause, which is to STOP bailing and plug the damn hole. We need Romney OUT in South Carolina, on Saturday. Not Sunday. Santorum is only helping Romney.
“Using divorcees to attack opposition candidates is Obama’s trademark.”
Well said. Obama has played this dirty pool before. Putting your tail between your legs and saying, “OK, ya got me. I’ll quit now. I had an affair. Chose someone else.”, is for suckers.
I’d better get on board this bus or I’m gonna miss the boat!
Your thoughts? LOL!
First I was for Sarah, but she didn’t get in.
Then I was for Herman, but he left.
Then I was for Perry, and he up and quit.
Never was for Huntsman, so it didn’t matter when nobody noticed he left.
Now it’s down to Newt and Santorum, but never Romney!.................
If not, then I guess you are suggesting we all just give up.......a very bad idea.......
