I'm officially endorsing Newt Gingrich for president today. Was going to wait until after Florida, but see no reason to delay. We need Newt to win in South Carolina and Florida to stop any possible momentum building up for the establishment big government, statist, abortionist RINO!!

RomneyCare = ObamaCare = government tyranny!! Taxpayer funded abortion is as evil as evil can be!!

Newt is a pro-life Reagan Revolution conservative who led the Republican Revolution of the 90’s, taking the majority away from the democrats who had held it for 40 years. And as Speaker, cut the taxes, cut the government, cut the spending, cut the deficit, cut regulations, cut unemployment, brought the federal budget under control for four years running. And unlike Romney, actually blocked a socialist healthcare system from becoming law. And created a pro-growth, pro-free market, pro-jobs environment and extended the Reagan economy throughout the 90’s!! Newt is the ideal candidate to lead the Tea Party Revolution!!

Newt plans to go to a 15% personal flat tax after deductions and a 12.5% corporate tax and eliminate the capital gains taxes altogether. He wants to privatize social security and medicare and eliminate the payroll tax.

And he wants to neuter the EPA and the Fed. Repeal ObamaCare, Dodd-Frank and Sarbanes-Oxley. Fire all of the czars, dismantle the Marxist state and fire if not jail Bernanke. And send 185 federal socialist welfare programs back to the states and the people, and return education back to local control.

Newt will directly challenge the liberal activist judiciary and end the unconstitutional power grabs of our usurping black robed rulers.

He wants to restore the constitutional balance of powers between the three branches and restore states rights and individual rights. He wants to turn government control back to the states and local people as the founders set it up.

These are the kind of dramatic reductions in government that the tea party is demanding.

And he has the knowledge, experience, know how, fire in the belly, and the balls to get it done!!

In short, I believe he's exactly what we grassroots conservative tea party rebels are looking for. I think we can use some of Newt’s conservative revolutionary talents right now!!

As long as the conservatives remain split, the establishment RINO Romney will waltz in just like McLame in 2008 and he will lose to Obama just like McLame. It's time to build the Gingrich Coalition!!

FR is hereby officially in full open rebellion against the elite GOP establishment and the Marxist commiecrats!!

Go, tea party!! Go, Newt!!

We are the resistance!!

Damn the torpedoes, damn the RINOs, damn the exes!! Full speed ahead!!

Free Republic is and will remain a pro-life, pro-family, limited government, strong defense, grassroots conservative site!!

RINOs need not apply!!

Happy Newt Day!! Only 366 days until President Newt evicts Obama!!

“In la la land. Call me when you wake up to four more years of Obama, whether he defeats Romney or Newt. Who he defeats don’t matter much when he defeats them.”

Who are going to run? Santorum? He would get chewed alive by Obama. Newt can put Obama in his place.

ABC may have shot themselves in the foot. With Drudge preempting them and essentially stealing their thunder, they could be in a position where they give Newt both barrels and he wins SC anyway.

If Newt turns in a great performance in the debate tonight, what ABC reports may be “old news” by Saturday.

Romney or Newt. Who he defeats don’t matter much when he defeats them.

Them? He'll be running against more than one?

I have some friends that are super knowledgeable, witty, and quick on their feet.

Successful degree'd professional people...

Conservative people...Family folks...Politically active...

But they will never volunteer to have an anal exam via the media/DNC/RINO machines....because we all have skeletons.

I love FR and have been around a long time. I might be the ones you want to get rid of but at this time, I can’t say I am with you on Newt. I know we can forgive but there is just some issues I have HUGE problems with on this whole Newt deal.... .

I am not going to Ron Paul that is for sure, but dang they are not making this easy for many of us. Please don’t push me out to that pasture.... I want to respect and admire your opinion. Afer all without JR there is no FR.

Just give me some time to figure it out. Please

We are with you. We meaning myself, wife, and friends in FL, who are pushing in yard signs, convincing others, and making calls. We, also means, my entire family in PA. Santorum may be a nice guy and stand up for social conservative issues, but he isn’t liked at all in Western PA (Greater Pittsburgh Area) by conservatives feeling a betrayal by him.

Maybe you could start your own thread with your official endorsement.
As Gingrich has stated in the past, how can an Ivy League prodigy even think about “not” debating some guy from West Georgia College.

I, like Newt, am a flawed person. However, every day I am in the trenches fighting for conservative causes. Am I a hypocrite? You bet, I am an admitted sinner. Yet people like me somehow manage to make the world a little better despite our flaws because we acknowledge our faults and try to atone for them the best we can. That is we are unlike the constant bitchers and complainers who are better than their flawed brethren and will never let them forget it.

So I wish you well hiding in a lonely bunker among the obviously saved and holy. Good luck voting for perfect Romney, who is nutty as a fruitcake on his path to godhood.

Ever see that one little kid at the sandlot that demands all the other kids play the game by his rules and do what he wants...then has a snit fit tantrum when he’s ignored?

Are ya catchin’ what I’m pitchin’ here?

Just give me some time to figure it out. Please

I'm not ready to make this endorsement yet either, JFC.

I get the points being made, but am not at the point where I'm down to just one of the two possible candidates (Santorum being the other one).

I think there are a lot of us in that position.

- Gingrich voted against a bipartisan 1% cut to the Department of Defense budget for 1983

Huh? Is this a plus or a minus? Considering I was in in 1983 I can tell you what it should be. Just trying to figure out why it's on your list.

I've had a few nights of being near rabid, and surely rabid......

And I've been a dumb ass dog more often than I care to admit.

But, I've NEVER been a rabid dog!!

If the media dnc vermin succeed this time in manipulating conservative voters into letting the perfect (which is nowhere in sight) be the enemy of the better, the good, the conservative with warts, then they will end the Republic by the end of barry bassturd’s second term. I refuse to allow that to happen and will vote for Newt Gingrich, warts and all. He has said he has sought God’s forgiveness, the bitter shrew, Marianne, is proof he needed to do so, and he’s too old now to play JFK sex games with a frikand frak, anyway! Sic ‘um, Newt! It’s time for an attack dog to bite and bite hard!

“Yeah, under my Bachmann bumper sticker was one for Cain. In the same spot was one for Fred Thompson. I will not jinx Newt.”

You are not alone. Tomorrow I will cast an absentee ballot in the MO primary. I am voting essentially “none of the above”. This whole primary experience is a total disaster for conservatives. What we were offered were horribly flawed. The few that I could believe have either left the field or are not acceptable and the balance of them I do not believe a word they say. This lot will say any thing and do anything to get a vote including working with the most detestable leftists. Romney and Newt will, mark my words, renege or any commitment they have made to conservative values. Sometimes they talk the talk but from past experience they are totally untrustworthy. Where is a golden knight that could save us from these professional and totally corrupt politicians. The best we can hope for is a totally split and open convention that could give us a honest as well as conservative candidate. Surely there is one out there.

Thank you, Jim! I’m with ya on this one. Perry getting out and endorsing Newt was the very best thing, other than defeating Mittens and Bowbama, that could have happened for the conservatives of the GOP~
