Well, if nothing else that was more than entertaining watching Newt wipe King off the floor and hand him his a$$. Far from this hurting Newt, I suspect that he is going to turn this on its ear entirely...and in the process, the media might be so shy of asking him about this in the future, he will essentially be inoculated. I highly suspect that Newt is quite capable of cranking this up far beyond where it already is if anyone dares raise the issue of his marriage at any future debates. Sure the crowd was roaring behind him as he dissected King.... they after all are partisan by definition. But I think the average American watching this can’t be anything but outraged by what the media is doing here. Will anyone watching this think that Newt is lily white? Of course not.... but Newt is going to make it very clear that no one knows what really has gone on beyond his former wife and himself and if the media doesn’t back away, they will be the big losers. It’s one thing to push a ‘salacious story’ to get the truth out....it’s another thing to be exposed to the core as having no objective other than to push the salacious story in order to swing things in the direction they want it.
Anne Curry is a liberal prostitute posing as a media whore. Oh, there is no difference. As a card carrying journalist before this little shit was out of diapers, I resent her destroying what many of us risked our lives trying to do, bring honest reporting to America (Nam, 1970).
She is what is wrong with the media. My late friends in journalism, including at least 4 Pulitzer Prize winning writers, are shitting in their graves over her lack of professionalism, her rudeness, and her obvious unobjective, biased actions.
We lost great women journalists in Vietnam including Maggie Higgins and Phillipa Schuyler, and we got this POS, Curry.
God, this was not a fair trade at all.
