Was talking to friend and my son this week. Seems not only the two of them but many of their friends and relatives are of the belief that if you have enough money to run you are corrupt. Any hint or possibility of corruption turns these independent minded people away from a candidate.

The fact that Willard repeatedly said he “left” Bain in 1999 and then we find out that he is still making over fifteen and a half million dollars per year (it all depends on what left means) just reinforces this concept.

He should have been upfront and honest. I'm wealthy, getting wealthier, because of my initial investment. Good for him, no problem.
As far as the “vulture” capitalism goes, don't think he can explain it away. the American people know the difference and know it is NOT the American way of capitalism: it is a manipulation. (Too many business degree and CPAs out there) It may not matter in a good economy, but when a person manipulates to earn more when his fellow citizens are hurting it matters.

I agree. Capitalism without moral clarity results in the need for Employees to have Unions for protection. This has created a messy conflict of interest between Management and their Employees. It should have never came to that.

The problem we have with a free society, where secularism dominates our places of learning, the citizens are being churned out without a moral compass.

We need to promote capitalism that follows basic moral rules that includes teamwork between Management and Employees. This is near impossible without the needed leadership and a re-made Judiciary system that basis it's judgments on moral common sense.
