As for Rush, he is back to non-commital position of any commital to a candidate, which in ordinary times could be understandable. He is saying that the race is long, “not panic”, which is true, but it can be inferred that he believes Newt can’t maybe hold up for the long run. AND WHO IS PANICKING, ANYWAY??? It’s the moderate media and the RINO detail!

In other words, I should be free to travel within the borders of the United States without being groped by government goons. Air travel is a normal mode of travel and therefore should not an exception to my right to be free from unreasonable search and seizure.
Keep in mind that these same Feds (different department but same government) feel it IS unreasonable search and seizure to ask for an Illegal Immigrant to prove their eligibility to be within the same borders.
That alone proves that this government is not using the TSA to ensure safety, instead it is to ensure compliance. I don’t know the Rand Paul situation specifically, but I will not default to the gov has a right to grope the citizenry.

It is probably accurate for Rush to say that “you can only go to the well so many times”, taking it to the media in these debates, unless of course if it is another outrage.
I don’t know, but I think it can play a little longer, as we supporters of Newt appreciate it and the venting it brings even for us is still quite satisfying, given the level of our outrage toward 98% of the media.
You knew them? Knew what life was like under them? You KNOW how they would react to a technology that was not around at their time, and situations they didn’t face at that time?
Interesting you should mention Paul Revere, who was an ardent Federalist and did none of those things when John Adams signed the Alien and Sedition Acts.
I’d also note that while Samuel Adams was an “Anti-Federalist”, he also partook of none of the list of suggested activities when his cousin signed the Alien and Sedition Acts.
The Sedition Act was a little more threatening to liberty than a TSA pat down.
And what Rush hasn’t come out and said was that we do not want another McCain.

The Fourth Amendment has been repeatedly found to not apply when you’re travelling. You have a lessened privacy interest in your car, flying, etc., than you do when you are in your house, as the current course of jurisprudence stands.
