All four remaining GOP candidates have been confirmed for tonight's debate sponsored by NBC News, the Tampa Bay Times, The National Journal and the Florida Council of 100. The debate will take place at the University of South Florida in Tampa. This will be the first of 2 debates this week focusing on the Florida GOP primary on Tuesday, January 31st. Note the air times on the east and west coast.
Television Air Time: Monday, January 23rd at 9pm ET, 8pm CT and 9pm PT on NBC

Newt was saved by a commercial.
Newt was off his game in the first exchange.
Mitt was attacking Newt as being a lobbyist and Newt responded that he did not make that much money from Freddie and Fannie as the money went to entities which means the money was going to employees and Newt was taking a small salary along with profits after expenses. Newt correctly responded that it was unfair and asked how much Bain made and it was not fair to say that Bain entity profits and Romney profits were one in the same.
For whatever reason Gingrich lost that point which was a winning argument and started babbling about Medicare.
Then Romney had his best moments.
For Newt thankfully there was a commercial.
After the commercial, there has been no real debate just boredom which favors the frontrunner who still appears to be Gingrich.

Ditto. Steyn’s anti-Newt vitriol makes me sick. If he’s on tomorrow, I’m not listening.
The last time Mark Steyn subbed for Rush, he spent the entire time bashing Newt.
I’ve always really liked Mark’s work in the past. My opinion has dropped sharply.
He uniquely agreed with whatever Newt said. Repeatedly.
