Center for Health Transformation ^

Document Shows No Lobbying By Former Speaker

ATLANTA - The Gingrich Group, LLC today announced it is releasing a contract written by Freddie Mac for consulting services it contracted with the organization.

“Subject to a conversation between our counsel and Freddie Mac, we have received permission to release the attached contract,” said Nancy Desmond, Chairman and CEO of the Gingrich Group. “As noted under the scope of work section on Page 14, the contract was solely for consulting purposes and not lobbying.

“Freddie Mac and The Gingrich Group have agreed that this release is limited to the contract alone and does not constitute a general release of the confidentiality provisions between us,” Desmond added. Newt Gingrich relinquished his ownership in the company in May 2010 when he announced his bid for President of the United States.

Mitt just got played. Just think what Newt will do to Barry when Barry can’t even play tic-tac-toe.

I am confused. What services would Freddie Mac need from the Center for Healthcare Transformation? Freddie Mac is essentially a mortgage company. The Center for Healthcare Transformation suggests ways to provide better delivery of healthcare services to the public. I don’t see why Freddie Mac would need such information.

LMAO! I wonder why Mitt — or Newt, for that matter — but particularly Mitt, who after all was until very recently the presumptive frontrunner/nominee, hasn’t challenged Obama to release his high-school records, college transcripts, thesis, etc.?

$300,000 for 2006? Didn’t Mitt make more than that giving speeches last year?

I guess you must be 100 percent wrong when you say this doesn’t matter. Obviously it does matter to Newt. Now APOLOGIZE IMMEDIATELY!!!!

The high-power lawyers can charge a thousand bucks an hour (maybe more, just recalling an article I read a while back), so this is in that ballpark.

Mitt: "When are you going to release your Freddie Mac contract?"

Newt: "I did, about an hour ago. So when are you going to release your tax returns....?"

Mitt: "Uhhh, well, I, uh, CPA's and accountants, and well, I intend to, after, nomination, er, uh......"

Apparently Mitt does not know the difference between a lobbyist and a consultant going by what he has been saying the last couple of days. You have to hand it to Leroy. The timing is perfect to release it right before the debate. Hahahahaha. GO NEWT GO! GO LEROY!

If he ever gets around to releasing his tax returns, we’ll know for sure.

Same here and I would also be interested in who the third parties referenced by FM are before October.

LOL

In all fairness, the Romneys have no idea how to fight a war, political or otherwise.

The entire family has avoided serving in the US military for over 150 years (not counting the period when they fled to Mexico to practice polygamy)

FUMR!

Now, I want to see a copy of the report on what Newt told them (although I heard him explain it)

He wanted them to stop what they were doing and he thinks Freddie and Fannie should have been broken up into four or five entities.

I don’t know about that, I could care less if they were allowed to go bankrupt and die.

The contract was made through the Gingrich Group, LLC. Not the Center for Health Transformation.

Before Myth and his cohorts have thought of the question, Newt has already thought of the answer.
