Marco Rubio: Mitt Romney is no Charlie Crist (Claims Willard is a Conservative)
Tampa Bay Times ^ | JANUARY 24, 2012 | Marc Caputo

Posted on 01/24/2012 11:39:25 PM PST by Kazan

Newt Gingrich's decision today to bash Mitt Romney for hiring former Charlie Crist loyalists and employees doesn't seem to be sitting well with Sen. Marco Rubio, who drove Crist out of the Republican Party before beating him at the polls in 2010.

Said Rubio: "Mitt Romney is no Charlie Crist. Romney is a conservative. and he was one of the first national Republican leaders to endorse me. He came to Florida, campaigned hard for me, and made a real difference in my race."

Except that he turned against the Republican party during the Reagan/Gingrich revolutions of the 1980s and 90s.

Mitt left the GOP, he went from supporting liberal republicans, to supporting only democrats, he fund even raised democrat.

Romney reregistered Republican in October 1993 to run for office, he kept fighting conservatism and supporting the hard left for years.

Romney does have an inner agenda, he wants to avenge his family, by destroying the conservative republicans.

Martinez said yesterday she has no interest in being VP.

She said that she was not interested in becoming Mitt Romney's veep, all of her responses and lack of anything positive to say were focused on Romney.

I'm still waiting for an example of Mitt's conservatism.

No matter what he claims he will do in the future, it seems to be the opposite of what he has done in the past.

I figure anything can happen in the coming months. When Obama starts feeling threatened things might get even crazier.

I have a pretty good handle on Mitt’s past, and I am not aware of anything conservative in that past.

He was against Reagan, against the Republicans and the Contract with America, he was against the Senate conservatives, the “Jesse Helms types” as he called them.

He was supporting liberal democrats in their races against republicans, he meant it when he found Ted Kennedy too conservative, too timid on some social issues.

Marco is more than a Hispanic Conservative. He is amazing and fearless conservative. Mitt was popular in FLA in 2008 among us conservatives. When Gov. Crist endorsed McCain just before the FLA Primary we all felt betrayed because there was no one that would sell out to the Dems like McCain and we all new he would not fight Obama. Mitt came back to help Marco early when Rubio was traveling alone in 2010. By not endorsing Mitt now is bad news for Mitt. Maybe the word came from Jeb that Mitt was fading but I can tell you, many down here did endorse Mitt and will have to be incorporated in a Gingrich General Campaign

Rubio made a point to say he will not endorse anyone until after Florida.

If Newt wins I see Jeb getting in and Rubio endorsing him. I think this is why we're not seeing endorsements in Florida right now. The party will not go down with Newt when we have a winnable election.

...The party will not go down with Newt when we have a winnable election.

The party of TARP has already gone down with their loser candidate old Lord McCain. We the people threw them a life line when we gave these turds the control of the people's house November 2010 and they have played golf with the chief. The Bush family are part of the problem.

Bloomberg was the worst to ever be accepted as a republican but there are close competitors and Mitt is one of them.

The "tent" just simply can't be that big if the GOP is to stand for anything.

If he is conservative, then he was wrong to endorse Mitt Romney.

Marco Rubio is a degenerate weasel who conspired with that fake suntanned orange faggot Charlie Crist to pass Primary Seat Belt enforcement in FL, legislation that even JEB BUSH vetoed every year he was Governor.

Good thing he graduated to DC, DISNEYLAND FOR BUSYBODIES, before he could participate in taking more of my personal freedom away.

Don't worry Marco, once we finish driving a stake through FLIP MYTH SLICK WILLARDS heart, we will be keeping eyes on you , yes indeed.
