Turkey. That’s a thirteen-year-old concept. The idea in that era was to reduce fat consumption. Today, we realize that fat consumption is not the problem. The cardio problem for nutrition is cholesterol, sodium, and a subset of fat, saturated fat. Chicken doesn’t contain saturated fat, but if your mind is still back in the 90s, like Rachel, you want turkey so you can avoid any fat. But turkey still fills them with cholesterol and sodium. No wonder they can’t control their own cardio risk, or weight. No wonder the kids laugh at them behind their backs.
