What I get ....that apparently others here can't get... is that sitting home and NOT voting against Obama will only get us four more years of this same shit....

which literally WILL be the death of us all.

Do YOU get it? Apparently not.

"I can’t tell you how many times in my lifetime that I’ve heard that, and obeyed it.

There comes a time when one has to take a stand, and this is the time for that.

Voting for Romney is voting for Obama’s goals, just at a slower pace.

Don’t you get that?"

I don’t know how old you are, and I don’t know how many elections in which you’ve been a participant.

I’m old...I’ve heard this crap from the elitists in DC most of my life. The very fact that Coulter, Talent, Rove, Sununu, Abrams, (especially Drudge) et al, would go nuclear on the day of the debate tells me all I need to know about them.

They aren’t about electing the best candidate, and they don’t care about this country.

They are all about electing the candidate who is best for them, and preserving their power.

Newt wouldn’t be good for them, but Romney has spread the wealth.

Funny but not surprising how you make no mention of Dubya the RINO. All the teethnashing around here regarding the primary meltdowns and yet there is near total silence as to Bush’s reign of error. To put it another way, Medicare Part D, No Child Left Behind, Amnesty etc etc put the GOP where it is today; in trouble. The first step to solving any problem is admitting there is one - Dubya needs to be repudiated.

12?

No problem-—I was a 16 year old Goldwater Kid in ‘64 and we appreciated all the support we could get.

Actually, I started in this nasty stuff at 12 myself, passing out Nixon buttons (yeah, he was a RINO but that’s what we had back then until Barry got going.)

I couldn’t agree more with your post. I’m staying home if mittens is the nominee. I have never seen such a coordinated attack by the GOP-e, media (including Our media like drudge) like the attack on newt. The GOP can go to hell

IMHO...the way I see it is this:

Since there is not a "NO" block to be checked on the national election ballot (and there should be), we all have three choices.

1. vote for whatever rino is on the ballot,
2. vote AGAINST the stain and the current regime (this means, unfortunately, that one is then FORCED to vote for the rino), or
3. Don't vote.

Both selections 1 & 2 mean a vote AGAINST the stain and the current regime.

The third choice means - in actuality - a vote FOR the stain and the current regime.

It comes down to this: if you do not go to the polls and choose, you eliminate one vote for the right wing and by definition the left (that would be the stain and the current regime) gains a vote.

Believe me, the folks over on DU are counting on just this! Think of it this way: a failure to vote puts one solidly in the camp of the stain supporters; all those college kids, the rabble seen in WI recently, the oh-so-smarmy soccer mommies, little chrissy mathews, keith old-er-man, rachel maddow, geogre sorros, the illegal aliens, the welfare recipients, and the like. Are you really sure you want to join and then support those groups???

And once the stain and his team begin to spend real money on this campaign, you're going to see a decided trend being forced down the right's throat to "just stay home".

Simple, really. A "stay at home" non-choice is a vote FOR the stain and the current regime.

I will die before I contemplate doing that.

I can see all sort of problems with Gingrich and his record, I disagree with Paul on several fundamental issues, and I think Santorum lacks the charisma to do well nationally. But, unfortunately, the establishment thinks the answer to our problems is to reelect Gerald Ford.

What we have is a constitutional crisis. What the U.S. has to offer the world is limited government. We need to return to that and solvency. Vote Ron Paul!

OK, I shouldn’t say this because I don’t want to get in trouble with the powers that be, but... He’d probably do ok. If we had him and a strong, radically conservative congress, he would probably do as he was told. Many of us, though, remember the way Newt can take the ball and run it up the middle, if you’ll forgive the football analogy. Would he be “a different idea every day?” Maybe. On the other hand, I think he is a much more thoughtful man than he was back in the day. He wouldn’t be where he is now if he wasn’t. He’s been thinking about this run for at least five years because, as you know, he gave it careful consideration in ‘08. He is the one that seems to understand that the day of the status quo ante is OVER. The day of stare decisis is OVER. The Cafeteria is Closed. We are at war, and we are fighting now over our own land. We MUST win, we MUST prevail, if we are to survive, and I don’t think Mitt gets that. He seems to realize it’s a tough time, yes, but not that the survival of our very nation is at stake.

I was being a little sarcastic. We need a leader who embodies much of what Dr. Paul believes, but with a conservative twist. I’ve always had a feeling that Dr. Paul would let us go down the crapper before he would violate one of his principles. The constitution is not a suicide pact. That’s why we have to OUTLAW some of this unconstitutional dissent. The part that rants about destroying us. That part. I call for the crime of Treason to once again be taken seriously.

You missed my point. I was providing a list of all RINOs who LOST elections.
I am not defending Bush but as I recall he won two elections: one against Gore and the other against Kerry.

++++++++I absolutely will NOT vote for or support the abortionist/statist socialist healthcare pushing Mitt Romney under any circumstances whatsoever!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=7OQoBxZZPqU

The elite GOP establishment can KMA!!

NO MORE RINOS!!

We are the resistance!!

Rebellion is ON!!

Go, Newt!!+++++++++

When We The People are not able to choose are our own candidate we are no longer a republic and now have morphed into some liberal/fascist oligarchical hell.

I agree on firm principal the only alternative is to support those that hold our values whether third party, presidential, congress, governor or local mayor.

We are where we are now because we have compromised ourselves into this situation so we now potentially have a candidate chosen by the elite oligarchy who for most intent and purposes is a liberal socialist and ideologically identical to the democrat opponent.

This is my limit - NO MORE!

Wow you sure are brave now. Let's see how you act if things really did hit the fan.

I truly belive that we are all going to find out and it will not be 'acting'. It will be survival instinct.

[-- America will be destroyed if Obama wins again. --]

The worst that happens would probably be a good thing, collapse of the federal government and ascension of the states to fill the vacuum.

Not so. If Fed gov't collapses, then those currently in power, (think 0bozo) will seize the military and will declare that the constitution is void, and will create their own idea of gov't. Prove to me that this is not their plan already.

"Oath Keepers" or not, soldiers do what they are ordered to do. I for one, do not want to be downrange.
