They did and was told off the GOP when we tired to get tickets as we live near here that only 800 went out and the establishment kept the others

Right..CNN didn't stack the crowd for Newt, the FL GOP-E did...merely by being the establishment types they are. Sounds like 800 seats for the public, 800-1000 for dignitaries...press, and 800-1000 seats for FL GOP-E (Romney fans.)

Looks like Wingman Ron lent Mitt a few of his poll spammers. Either that or Drudge has become a magnet for Romneybots.

All right. I’m officially calling for Romney to drop out and endorse Santorum. After that butt whiping he took on Romneycare, it’s the right thing to do for the country. :-)_

I do not like what you said, but I am afraid I agree.

It is my ‘hope’ that the people of Florida will have seen how rigged this was against Newt and for the advancement of Romney.

I don’t feel good about any of this tonight, but there is tomorrow. ;>)

After tonight Romney is out of the question for me, if he wins the nomination I will not vote for him. It has gone from dislike to hate so unless the other two win I am so screwed.

Great idea. It seemed to me this evening, that our public information isn’t much better than communist countries. They manipulate the questions to get the results they want and the nominee they want. They avoid issues that would embarrass Obama and his failed policies. It is frightening just how much control media has over this country.

” Santorum looks at the BIG picture and what is best for the country.”

If that was true, he would have endorsed Newt while we still had a chance to beat Romney.

Romney will likely win now.

Some people think that only a Kennedy can suggest Space goals. Newt is right we need a GOAL for outer space. I don’t understand why so many people don’t realize that we will always have poor people and social issues. Goals like going to Mars will bring us many new technologies that we cannot even imagine now. Sound like those who bash it think that winning an idol program is enough.

“Why is the GOP establishment so afraid of nominating conservatives? The dems aren’t afraid to nominate flaming liberals.”

I don’t think it matters to dems—they just want to win. They knew Hillary was a weak candidate, even if it was “her turn”. They had this “clean articulate” Black guy with no Civil Rights/Jesse Jackson type baggage to put up against the weak Repub candidate. Everyone voting for their guy would be part of “history.” And the media ate it up and covered for their unvetted candidate. It was a big bonus plus for the Dem establishment that he also has a love of big government....that he would squander his first two years in office with control of Congress by passing socialized medicine which was something they had been shooting for for decades.

Me too, anyone but the Dictator. I thought that Santorum won handily tonight. It would have been a landslide if HE was given the Palestinian question that Newt slammed out of the park.
Paul should get the hook, except that insanity and mediocrity are prevalent in America today.
Romney had some good moments, but when he told Rick not to be angry about the confiscation of liberties through government-run health care, the crowd responded with nervous laughter. they knew that he blew it.

I would give anything to see Governor Perry come back in. He was the best candidate, passionate and ready to enact real change.

Guess that’s why the establishment didn’t want him either.

The GOP has been brainwashed into believing that we have to appeal to moderate voters or lose automatically.

They don't realize that when you put up a moderate against a supposed other moderate(2008 McCain vs zero a supposed moderate) we lose.

Now we know he is a far left commie and we are still putting up moderates like Mitt, its more suicide.

As mercurial as Newt is he's still light years ahead of zero and his handlers but you can't convince the RNC/GOP of that. They are stuck in the mode of you have to cater to the squishy middle instead of put forth the best smartest candidate.

And Santorum will take plenty from Newt after tonight.

Romney 34%
Newt 28%
Santorum 20%
Paul 14%

Iowa was a straw vote, and he won by a dozen or so votes. It is a stretch to say he won a state.
