By your interpretation, that scripture would contradict itself. How can a man judge ALL THINGS, which by your interpretation would include spiritual people, when spiritual people can be judged by no man?
You see the outward appearance; you cannot know the heart as God can. so how could you fairly and righteously judge another person's Christianity under these circumstances?
1 Samuel 16:7
7But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
Romans 14:4
4Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
Matthew 7:1, 2
1Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
If you want to judge others, knock yourself out. It's still sort of a free country. However, your judgment of others' standing with God carries no weight from the scriptures.
Whatever it is that is causing you to consider this route, it can't be insurmountable. Please seek counsel, be it therapeutic or religious. Life is precious and it is a gift from God. Sometimes, all it takes is a little change of perspective.
Reading you post I see two things. The first is you do seem too be a believer in GOD. Otherwise why would you think you were going too hell? The second one is you posted what you are experiencing or feeling. You have taken the first step too getting some help the second is calling someone. If you don’t like the first person you seek help from then seek another till you find someone you feel you can confide in that will not judge you but rather will help you.
Not if you separate the carnal from the spiritual.
1 Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

May I ask what denomination she attended or in which she was raised? I might have some insight.
>>>>>Interesting topic, and the timing is perfect. This is something I have been contemplating for quite some time. Ive not told anyone, and I wont, but I dont know any of you people so what the heck... The only reason I have not done this yet is because of my religious beliefs, I know that there would be hell to pay, but Ill probably be going there anyway. Ive found this thread to be very interesting, along with the comments. Its strange that I came across this topic at this stage, could it be coincidence?
God may indeed be working in mysterious ways after all, as he always does. I advise you to seek help. I would suggest secular psychologists and therapists, if you cannot get religious counsellors to help you. This issue is so taboo in the Christian Churches, that almost all clergymen and theologians avoid it. Many religious people cannot accept the fact that good and faithful Christians can and do suffer, from suicidal feelings.
The fact that you have actually mentioned your struggle on this anonymous forum, is an incredible act of courage on your part. There are more people than you realize who have the same struggle, but cannot talk about it, even on an anonymous forum. If you get help, and start talking about your struggles publicly, you could help very many people. Maybe your suffering can help you make a new begining, in which your life has greater meaning and purpose than you thought possible.
We live in a world where people suffer silently with their pain, and some people do not share their pain, even with their spouses or parents. Many men do not want to be seen as victims, and they endure silent agony. Again, I urge you to seek help. The taboo that afflicts Christian Churches with regard to mental health issues, must be broken.
I never said people don't judge.
Perhaps we misunderstood each other. I was talking about a human not being in a position to make a determination at someone's death or at any time as to whether they have God's favor or not. We are not the one in a position to decide that, only God is.
You don't need an intimate knowledge of Koine Greek to understand that.
Even the way we judge others in our mind should be guided by the knowledge that we only see the outward appearance and don't have all the facts. We have been instructed not to judge harshly, otherwise we would be just like the Pharisees, who were sticklers for the letter of the law, but overlooked weightier matters like mercy. That could bring a harsh judgment on us.
Have a good night!

I am so sorry for the TRIPLE post...:)
Sexual abuse destroys a child's ability to hope and see a future.
Some medicines can CAUSE depression and suicidal thoughts.
Singulair does it for my daughter and Zyrtec does it for me. When I realized that the Zyrtec could be causing some SEVERE depression I was going through some years back, I went off it and in two weeks was a new person. Unbelievable change.
It’s a great anti-histamine and works very well for me in alleviating my symptoms, but I simply cannot handle the side effects, which not everyone gets.
Another perspective on suicidal thoughts is that I am firmly convinced that much of it is Satanic. Not saying that the person is demon possessed or anything, but the mind is Satan’s battleground and that’s where he attacks the most. Thoughts that life is not worth living and that there is no hope is a lie and it comes from the father of lies.
Now, I don’t believe that that knowledge alone is adequate to defeat depression and suicidal thoughts, but recognizing the source and knowing it is not you, it can go a long way in dealing with it.
First off, you are of inestimable value to God. He loves you beyond anything you can imagine. He created you, placed you in the exact time and place for you to live so that it could be as easy as possible for you to reach out and find Him (Acts 17:26-27)
He came to earth and lived a perfect life that we can't live, died a death to pay for sins which we can't pay for and then offers it to us as a free gift, free for the taking.
All you need to do is recognize your need for Him and throw yourself on His mercy and ask Him to save you.
Luke 18:9-14 9 He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt: 10 Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.
13 But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me, a sinner! 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.
God wants our hearts. They don't need to be perfect, just honest.
It's obvious to me that God is indeed working in your life. So far He has kept you from making any bad decisions. He is obviously drawing you to Himself.
Give in to His leading in your life and trust Him completely.
Coincidence? No. More like providence. He's watching out for you because He wants you.
I won't take my own life, but there's nothing this world has to offer anymore compared to what's waiting for us on the other side. Nothing this world has to offer has any hold on me any more.
I'm not going to check myself out early, but when my time comes, I'm not fighting it.
It was such a good post though.
Well Yank...your post was Fri. and this is early morning Sunday.. I just arrived at this thread.
Go get a complete physical check up first and be sure to mention these thoughts.
I say this because a month ago a family member had an eye exam which revealed a tumor. Now the tumor has been removed and what a difference in this womans life! Depression is gone as are other issues she’d been having for several years. She is doing incrediably wonderful...has a new life as she said.
She also had to walk with a cain..now she does not...all because of this tumor which they said was there for several years. But in less than 4 wks. wa-la...her whole outlook on life has changed.
So get a complete physical first.
My thoughts exactly. Until then, & as unworthy as I am, I like to reflect on the parade of loved ones waiting on the other side. Until then, Look up!
