Jim. I feel kind of dumb about this, but even if Romney edged out Gingrich in FL with Santorum in the race, it should NOT be over for Newt, should it? It won’t be over for Newt. It’s not that many delegates. It’s ONE contest.

Sure, the MEDIA will crow that they got their Rominee and that he sewed it all up, etc, but that is NOT TRUE.

And whatever Santorum gets are votes who believe in Santorum as best for this nation, not Newt, and if it’s not a big %age, it won’t hurt Newt. If Santorum doesn’t make it, he will drop out when it’s time. A certain %age of conservatives want to be able to vote for whom they want, this early in the game, and we like Santorum for the presidency. We’ve seen some new fire in the belly that he could take to Obama. He is more predictably conservative.

I know FL will give the winner momentum, but apparently not that much. The media will give Romney momentum even if he loses. You know they will!! And if Gingrich wins, they won’t parade him up and down. In fact, Gingrich SLAMMED Romney in SC and he didn’t seem to get momentum out of it... Again, due to the presstitutes, no doubt.

Go ahead and pressure Rush and Sarah because their endorsements might matter, but let Santorum compete in FL. He won’t hurt Gingrich. He sure didn’t in SC.

All of the above is said with love and admiration for you personally. I will vote for Newt if that’s how it is when our state gets the ballot.

Florida is IT. This is where the cram down always occurs, coming out of South Carolina. Money dries up with the Florida win, and Newt was low on it in the first place. The voters elsewhere will now coalesce and it’s a drag through delusion to believe it will be somehow reversed. EVERY TIME.

Nope, Florida is the last stand. Santorum did something foul to the pooch by staying in for the Florida race and helped seal it for Romney.

No it wouldn’t be over. But if Newt wins, it’ll send a strong signal to the rest of the voters in the country who may be fence sitters. If Newt wins, it’ll be the beginning of the end for Romney and ObamneyCare.

It’ll more than annoy the GOP-e, it’ll make their heads explode. It’ll be full on RINO panic!!

How can you possibly say that? Do you believe that the Santorum supporters would switch to Romney? I would say that’s highly unlikely. With Santorum out Newt would beat Romney handily.
