Last week it was all the outrage that Republican Arizona Governor Jan Brewer pointed her finger at President Obama. Some pundits, including Bill Maher, said this incident was unprecedented. It turns out, that is not true.
In an August 2006 interview of then President George W. Bush the anchor of NBC's "Nightly News" Brian Williams pointed his finger in the former Commander in Chief's face several times.
Williams seemed doubtful of Bush's reading habits, which at the time included a book about a French philosopher and another book about the battle of New Orleans.

Finger pointing be damned! These insidious “progressives” just want something to fake anger at.
Finger pointing is undoubtedly more grave than our open southern border.
Not to mention that, on several occasions, in 2008 campaign speeches, obama gave the finger to implied opponents.
Brian Williams. The epitome of the term “empty suit”.

I point my middle finger east from Fairfax towards Washington DC everyday.
I love the bit at the very end of the interview where Bush basically tells Williams he doesn’t pay attention to him, Williams says “Still not watching television, huh?” and Bush says “Oh, I watch the baseball game.” LOL.
Brewer had every right to shake her finger in his face - he gets off the plane and immediately upbraids her for something she wrote about him in her book 2 years ago.
How narcissistic is that?
With all the problems The governor has - and with the total hostility and interference from the WH - and all he can think of is trying to intimidate her, demanding respect.
She let him know she has all the respect in the world - for the OFFICE of the president of the United States...
So do we all - but he doesn’t - he degrades it.
This jerk arguing with Bush is trying to fabricate an argument out of nothing...
You don’t understand. Jan Brewer is a mere governor. Brian Williams is a superstar leftist media toad.
