While you're sitting at your computer FReeping, why not make 10 or more phone calls to voters in Florida to help Newt get out the vote?

I will walk you through the steps on how to make calls from your home, right now. Just follow these instructions:

1. Click on the link above.

2. Find and click on the words: FIRST TIME HERE? (Click here to get in!)

3. Fill in the information requested and submit.

4. On the next page, which says "Get on Board, Make a Difference!" look inside the gray box under "Opportunities to Get Involved!"

5. Check the box for "Phone support from home"

6. Then below the gray box, click on the button that says "I'm in! Click here to submit."

7. Then copy/paste this to your web browser and hit enter: http://t.co/ltHIQq9O

8. The page takes awhile to load, but when it loads up, in the gray box that says "Newt 2012 Phone Bank" click on the down-arrow to select the phone list for: FL Republican Voters - NEW (7891), and click the "Start" button.

9. The next page that opens up will be a NAME, a PHONE NUMBER, and a CALL SCRIPT that you can follow to make the calls.

10. Make the call, check the boxes on the call script, and then click "Save & Next" and it will take you to the next person to call.

It's that simple!!

1. If you are in FL go out and vote, then see if you can get pro-Newt friends, relatives, and neighbors to get out and vote. Offer to drive them to the polls if that will help to get them there.

2. If you are not in FL, call any friends and relatives down in FL and make sure they are planning to vote. Remind them how important it is (without being too pushy).

Santorum supporters are being stubborn in that poll if true.
They could cause Romney to win. I hope they realize the purpose is to stop Romney/the guy who wrote Obamacare. It is such an easy decision. ( And to original poster, thanks for sharing the info to make calls-we have been doing that for a good while-Newt needs all of the volunteers he can get)

I’ll do it! I would love to see Newt pull it off in FL and then tune into Fox news, et al., and watch the establishment talking heads stutter and stammer trying to tell us what it all means!

Thank you so much for posting this! The more people who make calls from the national phone banks, the more local people can go out in the grass and do the face-to-face.

If you are shy, I can promise you by your 2nd or 3rd call, you will be loving it. Promise. There are 12% undecided right now here in FL, some people think more. They are just looking for a reason to vote for a particular candidate, and a lot of them say how much they like talking to a real person compared to Mitt’s robocalls.

I talked to someone who made 100 calls today, A good number were all positive, and many decided right on the call to vote for Newt (at least they said so) But more importantly, she got 14 callbacks from voice messages she left... that is a high number comparatively... to me that says people are still trying to make up their minds. You can call today until 9 pm Eastern and tomorrow up to about 5 pm or so might still make a difference here and there...

I think Freepers will be much more persuasive and engaging than the average person making calls. There is a wealth of personality and passion on this forum, please put it to work for Newt - and America - today and tomorrow!

Just got off the phone with my friend in Florida, who is a doctor, and she is now emailing all her contacts telling them to vote in the primary tomorrow for Newt.

I got everyone to switch their vote who was about to vote for Romney.

This is very important! I made phone calls today (from a campaign office) and, believe it or not, there are still people who are undecided!

Don’t worry that you’re going to have to talk them into it - there’s a script and answers for specific questions, but generally you can send them to the website (newt.org) for a position paper or details.

Also, this reminds people who were going to vote for Newt that it’s very, very important that they go out tomorrow and actually do it.

I liked Rick , agree with him but what the hell is he doing?

He wants repeal of obamacare, well that is not going to happen if Romney is elected and he is helping this RINO to win this state.

Perry did the right thing and saw the writing on the wall just what the hell can’t Rick see?

His votes are helping ROMNEY and he has to pull out tonight not stay in and for his voters, well I would have voted for him but right now our votes are to valuable to give to third place and if his voters cannot see this then I truly despair for the future of conservatives.

Tell Santorum supporters FL is winner-take-all so 2nd place and 3rd place get NOTHING out of this. If Romney wins he gets all 50 delegates and then will be way ahead and probably end up winning the nomination. The only one who has a chance to beat Romney based on the polls right now is Newt.

not met many Rick voters to be honest but I’m shocked that even on here we still have folks saying they will vote for Rick knowing that they are throwing their vote away and letting Romney in with a win.

What astounds me is how some are supporting Romney on here, we have all this info, we have known about him and yet some still think that they should vote for him.

He JUST stay on until Missouri. Newt didn’t make it on the ballot there either. It’s just Paul and Romney in VA and Rick and Romney in Missouri;

From what I read in both cases Newt hired a ‘reliable’ person to collect signature and was sabatoged. I suspect we will know who was behind this sometime after the election.
