No, you either vote for the republican nominee or you re-elect Obama. Its that simple. And if you help to re-elect Obama, you are not conservative. Any of the 4 republicans are better than Obama, and everyone here knows it. Emotions are getting the best of folks.

My emotions are totally under control, but your logic is absolutely screwed. Here's why:

If 0bama is re-elected, America continues to have that bottle of socialism poured down our throat against our will. If Romney is elected, that bottle will continue to be poured down our throat, but it will be via crystal goblets, a glass at a time, but we'll all still be forced to drink it.

The fact is, this is a two man race, Romney vs Newt. Santorum is all but done, he just can't face it. Ron Paul isn't going to be the nominee, that is the long and short of it. If conservatives fail to rally behind Newt to stop Romney, they might as well stay home in November because it won't make a damn bit of difference if the choice is Romney vs 0bama.

I agree entirely with your mistrust of Romney, that is his problem. I have supported all the conservatives but whoever gets that nomination (and it isn’t Romney yet) is getting my vote. Obama must go.

Not if it is Romney.

He, from a GOP perspective, is worse than Obama.

It is Anybody but Obama, and Anybody but Romney.

If Romney gets the nomination, then the GOP has moved to far to the left for any sincere conservative.

I will vote for the Republican nominee.

I don't see that we have any choice...and it makes me sick cause the GOP knows that. I'm not giving up on Newt yet though.... this vote has tightened up quite a bit. Am sure the early voting hurt a lot. Poor Santorum looks dejected...hard week for him.

LOL... Yeah - got the message. The reason I didn't know that is that I've never seen the movie - absolutely can't stand John Beluchi - nor that kind of movie staring anyone.

I'm 70 years old and haven't been to a 'new' movie in probably 15 years. Oh, wait - I did go see the cartoon 'Madagascar' - and later bought the sequel, 'Escape to Africa' - and that only because I read about the computer horse-power they used to 'make it happen.'

Romney is giving a decent conservative free market attack on Obama. That is just a fact.

Of course he is. Romney has to be worried about what damage he has done himself with conservatives with his slime machine. He started sounding the bell about "healing the party" yesterday, and once he gets the nomination, he will morph into the second coming of Reagan. Plastic man can be molded into whatever part is needed.

Go play with yourself GS. I'm so conservative that compared to me Reagan was a communist.

There is no way in hell I will vote for Romney. The GOPE's are bringing this crap down and the result will be Romney getting his ass kicked in November.

It will be the GOPE's fault..not mine or the fault of anyone else who can no longer hold their nose for a RINO POS! We are done.

I stopped donating to the GOP a long time ago. However, I intend to spend more on supplies and precious metals like copper, lead and brass as I expect the shit to really hit the fan after the 2012 reelection of the ONE.

Think of it. A wanna be god going up against the Antichrist...should be quite entertaining.

You mean like the liberal garbage that Mitt Romney as Governor of Massachusetts routinely nominated?

“As governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney not only failed in this regard, he appointed a number of very liberal, if not radical, ‘living, breathing’-minded judges to the bench,” Barber said.

“Two that come to mind were extreme homosexualists Marianne C. Hinkle and Stephen Abany,” he said. “They both had a long history of pro-gay activism, yet Romney didn’t hesitate to put them on the bench.”

people are looking for a Big Bold leader,
and Romney just doesnt cut it. He has been morfing into
a more agressive mode, but you cant fool the people, the
majority of the people see through his weaknesses and
attempted transformation.

Reagan who had no business experience,
but his big bold initiatives that lifted up the country.
Guess who that ‘Reagan’ guy is today?
Then add the huge experience in Congress balancing budgets
and creating zillions of jobs.

Wrong.

Free Republic is an ANTI-ROMNEY website. We see him as we see Zero.

Per Jim Robinson:

Romney's positions: Abortion, gay rights, gun control, liberal judges, mandated socialist/fascist healthcare (RomneyCare)!

Free Republic will never support Romney. Romney and his minions need to accept the FACT that FREE REPUBLIC is Anti-Romney and we will BASH him FOREVER.

God forbid we have a live thread on a debate between Zero and Romney.... please know we will be bashing both in real time equally.

Romney will never be supported on Free Republic. Just accept it and move on. We no like Romney. Why can't Romney apologists learn to stay off Free Republic? Get your own website.

Yes, Obama must be beaten in 2012. Too much at state for our country. The supreme court really worries me.

I would love to see Newt as president, but every indication is he would lose big to Obama in the fall. There will be a parade of women coming forward accusing him of affairs and harassment. And it will stick based on his so called personal past. That is why integrity matters. Romney may not beat Obama, but I believe he is the best option to do so.

Newt has some large structural issues to overcome now. It’s more than losing Florida. Mitt proved himself in Florida, and all the key players will not align with him pretty quickly. And one final thing.... Sarah Palin, you are my favorite conservative. But you have probably done more to hurt Newt than to help.

Knock it off with the “we all need to unite” garbage. We’ve seen it before. The establishment spends millions smearing a conservative. When it becomes clear that the establishment candidate will get the nomination the “unite” bs starts. If the conservative does happen to pull it out the establishment deems him/her “extreme”, and says they won’t vote for him/her. I’ve seen it many many times. Establishment backstabbing has been going on my entire life.

I just have to get this off my chest. It is about Michelle Milkins ridicule of Newt supporters being upset that Mitt is buying the election. She belittled them.

My three part tweet was as follows:

Our problems run very deep & are with ‘Conservatives’ as well as liberals. A tv pundit made fun of Newt supports who are not ok with the election being bought with big $ and based on lies. In effect, she is saying it is ok to not have free elections based on truth. When we no longer care about integrity of the most important thing, selecting representatives, we are destine to fall.

Some are so blind, that they cannot see. Thanks for listening FReepers.

Yes, Obama must be beaten in 2012. Too much at state for our country. The supreme court really worries me.

If you are sincere in that fear, then voting for the progressive Liberal Romney should not ever cross your mind.

Mitt has a history as governor of nominating extreme liberals to the court:

“As governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney not only failed in this regard, he appointed a number of very liberal, if not radical, ‘living, breathing’-minded judges to the bench,” Barber said.

“Two that come to mind were extreme homosexualists Marianne C. Hinkle and Stephen Abany,” he said. “They both had a long history of pro-gay activism, yet Romney didn’t hesitate to put them on the bench.”

The disgusting members of the RNC, along with their creepy pulled back wives, met in New Orleans earlier this month to vote to punish FL for moving up their primary.

I have never seen a more sordid display of old money and arrogance.

They cut Floridas delegates in half from 99 to 50 and also did a bunch of other childish things like putting them in bad hotels far away from the convention and cutting their passes.

Of course none of this was reported by the "conservative" press, who are allied with the blue bloods.

These degenerate country clubbers are about to be kicked to the curb.

Lincoln was a douchebag who murdered the Republic, and its time to DESTROY THE GOP, and the WASINGTONIANS.
