TAMPA, Fla. — Mitt Romney rolled to victory in the Florida primary on Tuesday evening, according to early returns and exit polls, dispatching an insurgent threat from Newt Gingrich and reclaiming his dominant position in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

You should see it here in Utah. Every mormon is psycho for Romney. With Romney, expect 4 years of excuses for vetoing healthcare repeal (of course, it’s equally likely that the gutless RINOs will never attempt a repeal after Mr. RINOcare puts out word that he’ll veto).

Why is Flori-Duh always so messed up??

Florida contributes an enormous number of greedy geezers to the Obama Free Sh*t Army.

Look, Romney is selling the dream that the status quo can go on, if only it's better run.

Remember, Churchill didn't become, couldn't become, PM after Munich. Nor after the occupation of Prague. Not even after panzers were rolling through Poland, and war was declared.

Not until the Nazis were headed for the Channel was it possible to break the mold of the old way.

We're not there yet.

“Well, Obamacare/Romneycare is a big issue for me, and it’s inextricably tied to the economy as a whole. “

Agree with you 100%. But I would vote for a spatula to get Obama out of there. Romney may move toward his roots more than we think. Let’s hope and keep nudging him along.

The Florida Effect, Part 2
Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 9:15 AM

The winner of tonight's primary in Florida will almost certainly be the GOP nominee, and that winner will almost certainly be Mitt Romney.

The one redeeming thing is that this guy has been wrong on so many of his political forecast guarantees.

Sick of hoping—tried that with McCain. As I said in my earlier post: PRINCIPLES MATTER. Romney is an unprincipled, slick-haired politician.

From what I am hearing from some of my friends, there is some voter fraud going on as well, which may be perfectly legal.

The Mormon church owns A LOT of farms/ranches in central Florida and people were going their to work for a few months, just long enough to register and vote absentee, then heading back to Utah, ID, CA, wherever, where they will register to vote again.

No proof, just chatter, but it would make sense.

One third of the electorate actually thinks about what they’re doing in the voting booth. The other two thirds are sheep who follow the leadership. The conservative leadership of the GOP decided they could dress up a liberal pig to be a conservative. What they don’t realize is that, if he wins, Romney will turn his back on conservatives in the blink of an eye. Rich Lowry, Pat Buchanan, Anne Coulter, R Emmett Tyrell, Krauthhammer, Drudge, Hannity, etc., are fools who will soon have their folly exposed.

Knowing what I know about mormonISM, I will not be surprised if this is true.
Romney is scum.
He is a liberal because of his mormonISM not in spite of it.
Looks like Romney gave rofies to Florida voters.

“Screw Romney. He ain’t gettin’ my vote.” Obama and communists everywhere are heartened by your support.

So, you are including Romney in that same pile, right? Governor who effectively legalized homosexuals calling themselves married, put forward mandated socialized medicine.. Huh, come to think about it, Obama's pretty far behind Mittens on the commie move chart.

I completely agree! Again, I can’t understand why principles don’t matter, and why these pundits won’t embraces the bold colors so famously espoused by Reagan, instead of pale pastels...

Wise words in post 103.

Our government is so far off the rails that it will take a trainwreck of epic proportions before we can rebuild the railroad. I think too many have false expectations of what a GOP President could accomplish given the current sentiment of the majority of voters.

It’s still a depressing day no matter how you look at it.

The Palm Beach Post has the numbers by County. Romney took all the Counties that appeal to northern transplants. Glades, Hendry, DeSoto, Okeechobee and the panhandle belong to Newt. At least my County didn't fall for Mitt's BS.

Headline on Yahoo...

Mitt Romney re-establishes image with win
With a convincing victory in the Florida primary, Romney takes back the GOP mantle of electability.

Guess I called that one (see tagline).

(Sigh.) It'll be interested to see the breakdown in terms of election day voters and early voters.

Romney taking more votes than Newt + Santorum combined should put a bit of fear into supporters of both. And Tea Party Patriots...

Not my fault, we voted for Newt but I knew this was coming. Here is a map that shows votes per county:

http://www.wnyc.org/articles/its-free-country/2012/jan/30/track-florida-primary-returns/

Don’t blame Floridians, blame the stinkin’ damn yankees that move down here to enjoy our weather and beaches after they have effed up their yankee states. The SE coast is full of yankees and NY and NJ Jewish voters. If it hadn’t been for them, Hussein would not have won Florida in 2008.

Romney is a sorry POS liberal! IF, and that is a big IF, he does go on to win the nomination, I’m going to do what the blacks do. They all vote for the black guy, I have no choice but to vote for the liberal SOB white guy. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER vote for Barry Soetoro and I will not waste my vote by not voting. I want the illegitimate Marxist
homo OUT of the WH and he can take his fat a$$ beard with him. I see she’s out in LA tonight at some posh fundraiser. Wonder what that cost us and how long she will have them close down Rodeo drive so she can shop. Those low lifes make me sick.

FUMR
FUBO
FUMO

I’m so pissed off tonight, better to cool off and come back tomorrow. I’m going to watch Gone with the Wind with my daughter and wife.
