LUVERNE, Minn. (AP) — As political watchers fixated on Florida, Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum delivered a message to Minnesotans: The race is still on, no matter the outcome of Tuesday’s primary.
Santorum, speaking Monday to a crowd of about 300 people at the Palace Theatre in the southwest town of Luverne, seemed determined to regain the Midwest momentum he’d enjoyed in Iowa — even on the eve of Florida’s primary, in which the senator hasn’t polled well.
“I believe we’re going to be in it until the end, and I believe we’re going to win this race,” Santorum told an enthusiastic crowd.

Name a major conservative initiative Gingrich supported from the time he resigned from Congress until he decided to run for President. Hint: supporting the global warming scam and cap and trade, Medicare D, individual mandates, RomneyCare and comprehensive immigration reform (aka amnesty) aren't conservative activities.

Even with Santorums points, Newt would not have won. Don't take your anger and hatred of Romney on Santorum and his supporters. I think all of us can't stand him either. We have time.

Mitt Romney may have won Iowa and New Hampshire, but even if he wins in South Carolina and Florida, he will technically still have a long way to go before winning the GOP nomination.
Mathematically, no candidate can seal the nomination until late April, which leaves a lot of campaigning yet to be done.
Don't be like the establishment who say we shouldn't vote like we want, but have to vote for their candidate. Most are willing to vote for Newt if we can't get Santorum. Are Newt's backers saying no to Santorum if he starts to win? Is it never Santorum like its never romney?

Well I thought that Newt would do well with debating Obama, but Newt could not hold up to Romney’s lies so he will fold during a debate with Obama. I don’t think Newt could handle the onslaught that will come his way from Obama. He went insane with all the Romney criticism. After the debate, I seriously think Newt would lose to Obama because he cannot take any criticism. He only does well if he is winning.

I don't even buy into the accusations that Mitt has Drudge in his pocket.
I don't even buy the claims that Mitt owns the radio stations that Rush is on and that's why Rush will not "attack him".
I don't buy into conspiracy theories.
I do buy the facts and the facts are that Santorum has no chance at winning the nomination at this point (the numbers show that), I do buy that facts that it's not out of the ordinary that Santorum would endorse Mitt Romney because he did it back in 2008 and I buy the fact that there's no way Mitt Romney can win the general election without conservative support so he needs a conservative on the ticket.
Mark my words. The Romney most likely made a deal with Santorum. It's not a rare thing to happen. This is politics.
Santorum is staying in this to help Mitt Romney (a pro-abortion, BIG government, liberal republican) beat the candidate that Sarah Palin and Michael Reagan are supporting.
He knows he cannot win so... Why else would he stay in?

I also know that it’s not popular right now to openly be a supporter of Mitt Romney on this site and given the victory he won in Florida tonight he obviously has republican supporters.
I would find it hard to believe that his supporters in FR just went into a closet and have become lurkers when it would be much easier to support a “safe” conservative candidate that would help advance their real favorite, Mitt Romney. I suspect that the “non-existent” Romney supporters are still posting but doing it claiming they support the conservative candidate who will likely help Romney win.
That being said, I also know that Santorum does have legit supporters but not all that claim to support him are really wishing that he be the nominee.
Romney supporters don’t just shut up. They just approach it from another angle :)
Nobody wants to admit that Newt has some serious problems he’s going to have to deal with if we’re going to win this thing. Friggin’ yes men.
