Sheriff Joe is running for another term.
That’s right. “America’s Toughest Sheriff” refuses to quit, refuses to knuckle under or stop doing his job protecting the people of Maricopa County – the 4th most populous county in America – from illegal invaders and criminal aliens.
And Sheriff Joe is also staying on the job for ALL Americans. Because Arpaio's office - a single sheriff's office - apprehends a staggering 25% of all criminal illegal aliens in the entire United States every year. That means Joe doesn’t just keep illegal alien rapists, robbers, gangbangers and identity theives out of Phoenix, Mesa and Scottsdale, AZ – he also keeps criminals from threatening Americans in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida – and cities and towns near you.
That is why Sheriff Joe was a target for this Administration from day one, and why the DOJ launched an “investigation” against Arpaio just four weeks after Obama’s inauguration - when most Federal agencies were barely even staffed. Because Arizona is the gateway for illegal aliens into America. And the open-borders forces don’t want Sheriff Joe to be the gate, stopping the flow of illegal labor – and potential voters for their cause – into this country.
So Joe will not quit. He cannot quit. But he needs your help!

In a recent conference call, members of La Raza ("The Race"), ACLU and MoveOn.org said defeating Sheriff Joe was one of their top priorities for 2012 - in order to destroy the most potent national symbol in the fight against illegal immigration.

Because he has led the fight in Arizona against illegal immigration, Sheriff Joe Arpaio has become the target of attack by national special interest groups and left-wing politicians who would rather turn a blind eye towards the crisis of illegal immigration. All he is doing is enforcing the laws of his state and our country. These well-funded groups have vowed an unprecedented fight to defeat him for re-election.
What these extremists really want is a Sheriff who will look the other way, be silent and allow the charade to continue, while ignoring the laws of our land. Sheriff Joe will NEVER let that happen.
But Joe desperately needs your help. It's going to take a lot of resources to combat the attacks and false allegations against Joe and his deputies, and win this campaign. Joe cannot compete with the local and national media machines that distort his record and the job he’s doing to protect this country. In the face of one of the most trying years the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has experienced — with upheaval at the highest levels and a U.S. Justice Department probe accusing the agency of engaging in widespread discrimination — Sheriff Joe Arpaio has raised more money than ever for his re-election campaign.
And the vast majority of those donors — more than 80 percent — live outside Arizona.
Arpaio’s latest campaign-finance report, filed earlier this month, shows a local candidate whose fundraising prowess appears unrivaled, with more than $1.1 million coming in from donors in the past year and a total of nearly $6 million raised since 2009.
The report also shows a politician whose national profile has grown even as his office has come under increased scrutiny for a variety of reasons: botched sex-crime investigations, illegal-immigration enforcement, faulty financial management and an ongoing federal criminal investigation into allegations that members of the Sheriff’s Office abuse the agency’s power for political reasons.
With that as the backdrop, Arpaio in the past year made 16 trips around the country for speaking engagements and to offer support to other candidates. He also made 40 appearances as featured guest on national news programs.
His trips around the country don’t necessarily translate to financial support, Arpaio insists, but his campaign manager said the sheriff made a conscious decision after the 2008 election to solicit more contributions from around the country. During the entire 2008 campaign, Arpaio raised slightly more than $600,000.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio is an amazing man. I am very involved in Arizona Republican Politics. This man comes out for the Party all the time, and outside of Maricopa. Last year, I raised 10K on my Lincoln Day Dinner featuring him. He comes, he poses for pictures, he is a great sport. And he is not a young man. He came to our Republican Picnic this past August in Mohave County. It was in the Hualapai Mountains and the altitude made him ill. But he stayed as long as he could and posed for pictures and sold those pink underwear which always gets at least $300 per pair. I love the guy.
