House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) vowed today that she will join with the Obama administration in standing up against the Catholic Church in defending a new regulation that will require Catholic individuals to buy, and Catholic institutions to provide, health insurance plans that cover sterilizations and artificial contraceptives, including those that induce abortions....
At her Wednesday press briefing, CNSNews.com asked Pelosi: "The administration has issued a regulation that will require all health-care plans to cover sterilization and all FDA-approved contraceptives, including those that induce abortions. This would force Catholic individuals and institutions to act against their consciences. All across the nation, Catholic bishops are saying-"
Pelosi responded: "Is this a speech, or do we have a question in disguise as a speech?"
CNSNews.com continued..."Catholic bishops are saying they will not comply with this law. Will you stand with your fellow Catholics in resisting this law or will you stick by the administration?"
Pelosi: "First of all, I am going to stick with my fellow Catholics in supporting the administration on this. I think it was a very courageous decision that they made, and I support it."

So true! One thing to mention too; my Dad is a Baptist (South. Baptist). He said something encouraging this morning. He said that since the R.Catholic Church is standing up against this, he’s sure other churches (non-Catholic)will stand w/them! He thinks his church, and others will stand up with the R. Catholics in this!
The time is hear for all Christians to hang together.
Especially, if we get a 2nd Obama term.
He will come after us with a laser focus.

Somehow not only defying the will of God but forcing other people to defy their conscious is “courageous” in Nancy Pelosi’s eyes.
This is the sort of statement you would expect from someone who sees themselves as “courageously” waging war against not only the doctrine of the Catholic Church, but the moral rights of Catholic Americans.
I don’t see how anyone can call this woman a Catholic, he acts like the enemy of all Catholic’s.

The Real question is how on earth can anyone regard Nancy Pelosi to be a member of a religion who’s core convictions she not only rejects but actively campaigns to force others to disregard.
I’m not Catholic but if were, I would not recognize her as one of ours and would indeed go so far as to urge the Church to formally excommunicate her. People like Nancy should not be able to claim the Title Catholic while she not only rejects catholic teachings but wages political war upon them.

I followed this list, and according to it, our present-day Pope Benedict XV1, Pope John Paul 11, and Archbishop Wuerl, Archbishop Niederauer, are all excommunicated! What in the world is this all about?
Pope Benedict is still the Pope, and John Paul 11 was the pope until the day he died! How could he have been excommunicated? By whom? Two of these men above are still acting Archbishops. Who excommunicated them? Something’s wrong here!

I’m 50, and I can’t remember anything comparable, so it’s a big step in the right direction.
I agree for you and me but lets face it most Catholics are just Dems, they never follow their faith in the north east at all but then proudly call themselves Catholic.

As for the timing.
Look it this way.
This is an election year, his own internal polling might not look good so he knows that in order to get a lot of this left socialism advanced he has to do it now and take his chance Catholics and others are not hearing about it or just being ignorant about it.
If the MSM actually reported correctly and stopped being biased then more would wake up but of course that is why the MSM does not report.
In the GOP now social issues are never mentioned, an’;t have the platform for the RNC speak out against homosexuality and that agenda, can’t have people informed about killing babies.
No all the GOP cares about for the most part is their own pockets, their own stocks and shares and their own power.

What we need is a news channel, a way for the masses who come home to hear what really is happening with no bias, and you know what and why they do not do this is beyond me.
Get an AD, show or inform how an abortion is done and what they do to that baby and show the ultrasound of that baby before it is killed.
Now why is that not being done.
Show the ultra sound of a baby and ten show how abortion is carried out and then ask is this what you support , does this look like a baby, toes, fingers , a heart etc?
