I believe such a grave charge requires some supporting documentation. Answering the question out of the bible is not an example of any kind of idolatry, even if the answer is of limited direct use. (Jesus never married, as an obvious example.)

Answering any question out of the Bible is not a problem unless you are engaged in divination ~ and then, from time to time, they get really tough on the practitioners and burn them of course.

It's where you imagine yourself to be God. This is a common problem!
