They will all be standing around with their palms pointed skyward and mumble “what did we do wrong”?
Remember bloody Thursday.....that should be the battle cry moving forward..
Remember bloody Thursday.....
I really don’t expect to vote Republican again. I want a new party, and I won’t ever get one if I keep encouraging the Bad Old Party. No more money. No more votes. Have a nice day.
“Does anyone expect that when he gets to Washington and starts running the government like a business, entitlements will reform themselves, the deficit will shrivel on its own accord, and Leviathan will shrink to a size where it can be domesticated and housebroken?”
And the oceans will stop rising and the earth will heal itself.
“..Mr. Romney has captured the Republican flag and will carry it into battle this Fall. “
Really?
You mean the other 46 states have had their primaries and the convention is over???
I musta slept through it somehow../sx (sarcasm to the extreme)
Great article.
Romney has NOT captured the Republican flag, American Spectator. There are something like 46 states to go yet.
Romney would appoint moderate to liberal judges that will side with the left on every major case before them
Romney will make a half hearted attempt at repealing Obamacare, then quickly proclaim... I tried.. but it's impossible to repeal.... but I think we can improve it a bit if we ticker with it some.
Romney will after finding out the true scope of the problem upon taking office will regretfully raise taxes (cough)
The deficit will continue to skyrocket.
What Romney is demonstrating is that our little uninformed Republican primary voters either hope or truly believe that Washington can be tamed with a little tinkering around the edges. These are the older children of those primary voters who chose Nixon over the first Romney in 1968. The second Romney seems more determined than the first one, who was prone to self-described “brainwashing.”
5% of the “votes” cast and it’s over?
Nope. Expecting those dazzled by a supposedly squeeky clean Republican is foolishness though. Just as Obama disciples won't see past his facade, so Romney's won't see past his.
I believe this guy has caught the essence of Romney perfectly and if he gets elected he will manage the decay.
I have never even considered the possibility of Romney winning, not for a second.
He is the perfect sparring partner for World Champ Obama. The idea of him winning a national election, against this opponent, is ludicrous.
Looks like I have to add another name to my Obamedia list: American SpectatorObama.
Beating the “Willard Is Inevitable” drum to get Willard on the ticket so the Kenyan has a RINO to run against. Been the plan all along.
With people like Democrat plant, Crybaby Boehner, really running things, whoever is elected will have little chance of reforming anything, this is especially true if Gingrich is elected as there is bad blood between him and Boehner.
Romney will govern just about the same as Hillary would.
The Conservatives of this fair nation need to build a new party for themselves, using the Tea Party as the base.
“..Mr. Romney has captured the Republican flag and will carry it into battle this Fall. If he loses, those people who believed devoutly that the times require something more than a standard-issue Republican for whom all things political are negotiable and to whom there is no dispute that cannot be settled by compromise those people will be saying, “Never again.””
No they won’t the stupid bast...s will line up again to vote for the next RINO the media and RNC push down their throats.
Americans Elect 2012
Who would you choose for president? This election is in your hands. www.americanselect.org

When it comes to picking a Republican nominee for president, there is little consensus among tea partiers in Nevada, the next state to hold a nominating contest.
A poll commissioned by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and 8News Now found Newt Gingrich to be the favorite among strong tea party supporters. He was supported by 37 percent of that demographic, Mitt Romney by 27 percent, Rick Santorum by 20 percent and Ron Paul by 9 percent. But the picture on the ground is fairly fractured, according to the local tea party groups.
The tea party people are scattered in whom theyre supporting, said Jeri Taylor-Swade and Laurel Fee, editors of TRUNC, a group that works to build bridges between the tea party and the Republican Party.
Theres a faction of the group thats supporting Ron Paul, a faction of the group thats supporting Sen. Santorum, and then theres another faction of the group that are supporting Gingrich, they said.
Each of the tea party members is looking at somebody whos conservative, they added.
Mitt Romney is not on that list. Asked if anyone was getting behind Romney, the two TRUNC editors replied, no, not that we know of. In part, they said, because hes a moderate, and, we dont need an Obama-lite.
Another blow against him is how synonymous his candidacy has become with the so-called establishment in Nevada.
Lost in the narrative is the undeniable reality that Myth has no chance to win the general election.
I'm so sick of this worship of Thomas Jefferson by so many "conservatives." Why don't these people just admit that they want the Articles of Confederation back and that the Constitution was a "Communist plot?"
