Ran through my bills this morning, komen’s donation letter was there.
Tossed in the trash.
I used to be an annual sponsor of Relay for Life, but stopped three years ago,when I learned of the Komen-Planned Parenthood connection. I told the organizers I would continue to give if I could direct my donation to a non-tainted charity, but was told that was not allowed.
I was under the impression that Relay for Life is sponsered by The American Cancer Society, and The Three Day Walk was affliated with Susan Komen. Guess I thought they were 2 different entitys.
Does Komen get any taxpayer subsidizing like PP does? If not then Komen are chumps to cave in to PP. As for Americans they can choose to do donations or not to Komen but their taxes are enforced help subsidize PP whether they like it or not.
PP like the Fed Govt is tyrranical.

No. If you donate to relay for life, you are giving to Komen, and thus to Planned Parenthood
Thanks, I will no longer allow my 9 yr. old to participate with the schools Relay for Life. We will continue to donate to March of Dimes..as the 13 yr. old was born 3 months pre-mature.
Why give money to a breast cancer charity that gives money to an organization that has nothing to do with breast cancer?

And some pressure is more equal than others. If you read the comments when these stories are posted on news sites, the pro-abort crowd waxes indignant about "right wing pressure". To the leftist/death cultist/Alinskyite, only "right wing pressure" is wrong.
I find it DISGUSTING that there is such a devotion to the destruction of little unborn children in this nation that a firestorm erupted in favor of a private organization continuing to give money to the pro-infanticide purveyors of the activity.

Maybe the Komen foundation can partner with PETA now. Neither one will ever get a dollar from me.
