Signs Point To More Strong Jobs Growth: Expert

(CBS News) There are indications the economy is getting stronger. The Labor Department said Friday 243,000 jobs were added last month, the largest gain since April of last year, and the unemployment rate fel to 8.3 percent, the lowest in three-years.

The numbers, says Charles Schwab Chief Investment Strategist Liz Ann Sonders, are "pretty close to great. What was unique about this month relative to past months is there was not much you could follow (with the word 'but'). The sport has been the skeptics diving into each month's number and finding some fault with it, and this time it was strength across the board, and that made it particularly unique relative to recent trends."

the economy is going like gang busters... in China, and for those working at slave wages... but for the rest of the uncounted, well, we’ll just leave them uncounted...

Really Liz?

How about that lowest ever labor participation rate.

Idiot.

You could call this media BS from the pressholes even if you were on another planet.

The last time the unemployment number was 8.3% there were millions more working. They are playing a numbers game with statistics.

Also, Obama said that unemployment would not get any higher than 8% with his legislative measures and programs that were passed in Congress. Now 8.3 percent is no longer consider “not any higher, but a great achievement!”

I still have a small IRA rollover account with Schwab -- and if this is what their chief investment strategist actually believes, it's not a bad idea at all.

" They are playing a numbers game with statistics."

On the bright side, unemployment will be at 0% by this this November. Wow just in time too!

The only sad thing is that Brian Williams will report it and dumbass Americans will believe it.

This is a well-designed grand illusion. QE3 and beyond is coming on a global scale. The markets are going to explode. The unemployment numbers will be manipulated down every month between now and November.

When the bottom falls out and the ponzi crashes, some external factor — war, terrorism, Europe, whatever — will be blamed. And those who caused the crash will have just the right fix to make it all better. But right now, the plan is to get Obama re-elected. Liz is with the program.

We all know the figures are being cooked because it’s an election year. And it will continue. The Republican nominee will not have the ability to run on high unemployment. The 0bama regime will make sure of that.

Mitt Romney is running as the “job creator.” That is all he has. And it will be completely neutralized by November. Arguing that the statistics are misleading is a losing argument.

Mitt Romney is unelectable because of this. He has no compelling reason to be President.

This is what Newt must latch onto. The establishment wants Romney as the nominee because he won’t shake things up. Under Romney, the gravy train will still flow. Those “Too Big to Fail” will continue to get their bailouts. Spending will continue to increase. The party in charge will change, but the policies will stay the same.

This is the message Newt needs to focus on. Attacking Romney’s positions won’t work because that’s not what is fueling his support. His supporters care only about his supposed “electability” so the only thing that will take his support is to expose it as the myth it is.

Newt needs to be running the Romney Bloopers reel for his ads. Showing Romney stuttering and dodging, showing off his cringe inducing gaffes about corporations being people and not caring about the poor, making Romney a laughing stock. This is what will defeat him. Romney voters only care about the victory they have been promised. Making them doubt that is the only thing that will stop him.

Liz are been saying we’re in a V-shaped recovery since 2009. Give her a break. The pretty thing has to eat.

“On the bright side, unemployment will be at 0% by this this November. Wow just in time too!”

The big question is will it go below 0%, because some people will be working more than one job in order to make ends meet, which will also be counted.

"The big question is will it go below 0%"

I don't think even Brian Williams can spin that kind of magic.
