Ron Paul Tells CNN’s Piers Morgan Only “Honest Rape” Warrants An Abortion. (Honest Rape?)

During an appearance on CNN’s Piers Morgan, GOP presidential hopeful Ron Paul was asked whether as a man with daughters and granddaughters, Rep. Paul (R-TX) thinks that abortion is warranted if a woman has been impregnated by a rapist.

“If it’s an honest rape,” Paul replied, “that individual should go immediately to the emergency room, I would give them a shot of estrogen.” He claimed, however, that if a woman is “seven months pregnant” and says that she was raped, “It’s a little bit of a different story.” Source

I oppose (almost all) abortion because the fertilized egg could become a person. At which stage of pregnancy that takes place is beyond me but this is why I support the morning after pill in the scenario which I described in my last post.

My 6 week old son showed a heart beat at 9 weeks of pregnancy on ultrasound. I would not consider abortion for any reason that late in pregnancy. On those pics the boy clearly had humanoid features and a heartbeat. And abortion of any kind at that point or later is clearly murder.

I quoted it in my response to you.

The phrase, "At which stage of pregnancy that takes place is beyond me," is essentially the same as "above my paygrade."

But it could still be rape. I agree, which is why the Paul proposal is specious. A state barring abortion other than rape or life of the mother or even incret would face problems determining these things, not worth getting into here.

The Constitution imperatively requires the equal protection of the right to life of every person.

It was exceptions - ie the destruction of the fundamental principle of equal protection - that opened the door to abortion on demand.

And it is exceptions that keep abortion on demand going.

Perhaps Peter Singer.

Though I thought his name was longer and had some ch in it.

There have been more than one spouting such demonic genocidal hideousness.

INDEED.

Evil to the core.

And either exalting in it or in gross denial of it.

“fertilized egg could become a person”

Are you joking??? A fertilized egg IS a person. Taking a simple high school biology class could teach you that.

I’ve worked around Aussies . . . easy to love.

However . . . is it my imagination or

is it more or less true

that Australia

seems to be much more or significantly more

of a hotbed of

hedonism, self-centered-ism, lawlessness—do one’s own thing and to blazes with the details etc. ???

Though I think the USA is about as bad on such scores as can be.

A husband prays for a healthy baby.

A wife prays that the baby is the same race as her husband and kind of looks like him.

According to feminist laws currently on the books, alcohol renders a woman legally incapable of giving consent, and thus any consensual relations where the woman had alcohol first is legally defined as rape.

Feminists love to say “All men are rapists!” and they have now made that ideology law enforced at the point of a government gun.
