Twin explosions rocked security installations in the Syria city of Aleppo, Syrian TV reported on Friday, with reports of at least 25 dead on the scene, with 175 wounded.

The so-called "terrorist explosions" shook Aleppo, Syria's second largest city, only a day after the city's first wave of anti-government demonstrations was reported.

Opposition officials claimed the Syrian regime orchestrated the attack in order to damage the image of anti-Assad forces.

Yes, this is more violence and terror (and mass murder) by the Assad dynasty -- it has carried out these attacks in order to kill some protestors while blaming the attacks on the protestors. Assad ordered the immediate death for deserters, then blamed his murders of "security forces" on foreign terrorists.

Because the Muslim Brotherhood would never commit terrorism?

The two sides in this civil war are
1. The Alawite dominated Baathist regime, which is allied to Iran and Russia.
2. The Muslim Brotherhood and other Sunni activists.

In so far as there are no good actors and Russia is literally deloying its fleet to protect Syria, we should not be involved. The longer and bloodier this gets, the harder it becomes for the Muslim Brotherhood and Salafis to get along with Iran. And this is a good thing. So let the Syrians settle this, Hama rules apply.
