Ron Paul treats conservatives the same way Romney does: ignore us, demean us, insult us, then demand that we support him.
..and yet they never attack each other..hmmmm
You’ve hit it spot on.
Wanna hear something funny?
The Republican Party of Iowa has just elected a Ron Paul supporter as its Chairman! The 9-8 vote is bound to leave hard feelings.
It’s called arrogance...and they’re both full of it.
Well you’re not obligated to support either one.
I think they have a deal. If you notice Ron Paul and his Pacs have attacked Newt when Newt was not in the lead, Paul has never ayttacked Romney and Romney has never attacked Paul. Rand Paul lied about ‘breaking news” to get on Hannity’s radio show to read a letter he had written to an Iowa newspaper denigratig and attacking Newt.
I think the deal is Romney, if he gets the nomination selects Rand Paul as VEEP. In exchange the Pauls attack whoever is threatning Romney and Ron Paul agrees to not run as a 3rd party candidate against Romney.
I think all three of them are slimey and un-principled enough to do this.
After going to the York County caucus in Maine it is my opinion that even if Romney is reported as winning tonight he won’t have as many people at the state convention as Ron Paul. Based on what I saw today it will be Paul and Romney neck and neck with Santorum 10 points back with Gingrich a distant 4th.
Romney spoke in the morning, Ron Paul shook hands outside but didn’t speak.
Yes — curious, isn’t it?
When was the last time a candidate "demanded" that people support him?
Politicians do it all the time. Haven’t you noticed the insistent tone both of them take to the effect that we owe them our votes? It’s as if they think they own us.
And that's different from other candidates? How? My guess is you think they're illegitimate, so you hear them demanding your vote, and you think other candidates legitimate and don't make that conclusion when they use similar language.
Ron Paul might say words to the effect that you should vote for him if you care about some issue. But it's up to you to decide if you do care about that issue and if you think he really is going to do anything about it.
Romney's people keep saying you have to vote for him if you want to win, but I don't hear him actually saying that himself.
You can laugh them off in both cases.
Hey, duffee. You and Pkssp are on the same page.

If those three slime bags do this, there are gonna be a lotta ticked off people around here..Unfortunately, many of the uninformed drones and Paulbots would think it’s a great idea to have Rand jump in and bail out Mittens and his Daddy..
I am getting really p*ssed off at the thought of it.
And you two are brilliant to come up with that possible scenario.
SCREAM!!!!

Not a damn bit funny.
Maybe it’s time for Iowa’s TEA Party factions to unite, and make a run of it with a formal party organization rather than follow RPI down some Yellow-brick Road to the Land of Paul.
Do you think there a chance that Paul can beat Mittens tonight, hawg?
It will be close. I bet that 70% of those caucusing were attending their first caucus. Ron Paul people were very assertive about attending the state convention. Regardless of the result today, Ron Paul will dominate the convention in May, in my opinion.
In my town it was 44% Romney, 34% Paul, 22% Santorum. 2/3 of the delegates to the state convention were there for Ron Paul
“Ron Paul will dominate the convention in May, in my opinion.”
You’re joking, hawg. right?
